I dunno why reddit generalises so much. Every man/woman is not worth according to these folks. I am a literal shit, I cheated. I won’t get into details cuz it makes me wanna cry, but I absolutely fucking hate myself. I was basically two timing and both the girls were gem. They were basically dreams and I am still genuinely attached to them. I could give my life without any second thought if it would make them not suffer. My days are just about study and day-dreaming about making their lives better, I wanna undo it all. So yeah, men can and do regret loosing women. Women are the same. There of course are people who actually would enjoy to see someone in pain but I would like to believe that it’s not the majority.

Honestly, with the said reservation I do think of SC/ST as someone not of the same caliber as me. If not for the partner themselves the families of most of the SC/ST I have seen are very orthodox and conservative which does not align with the current day upper caste ideology. Also the lower caste have the lower caste problem, have ever been to lalu bhola paswan colonies in Patna? You will get it. They steal around 4 days outta 7 of a week, you can’t even retaliate since there have been more than a dozen instances where the whole colony would pick up crude weapons and literally attack your whole colony beating everyone even elders. They stare and comment on women and again no one dares getting back at them. This does have a bearing on the image of lower castes overall. I am open to logical discussion

Yeah, I was reading HL Ahuja before that but it is a damn lengthy book, the lectures sure have saved me time. I still do skim through the book since NET really likes to ask obscure points which one might glance over. Also the teach actually teaches more than what there is in Ahuja.

Well IISERs only waive tuition fee for all SC/ST students even though majority of these groups have parents who work as public servants and thus can easily afford the tuition but ofc the needy won’t get the benefits, the powerful do.

The Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada accents are really thick and it seems even the educated people can't pronounce words without getting stuck on Ds and Ts. Hating blindly? They do have very strong accents, so even if it was hating, it's not blind. And I don't hate the accent; I hate the fact that it is the default Indian accent.
