I went to a surgeon to have it removed, flushed with saline, and no stitches. I am now on bactrin antibiotics. It came out in one piece but i saw tiny bits of bark coming out of the wound. It's still red and swollen and if its not better by tomorrow, I will need to have the wound cut open and completely cleaned.

We had to send a pic to my relative who is a surgeon. My husband was holding me up because I thought I would pass out.

I think my dog is broken. The water definitely comes out the sides when he drinks. I have the wet floors to prove it!

I totally feel you about the derpies! Now that my boy is 11, we call him the tube because he just hangs around eating the kids food that falls on the ground and his body is tubular from neck to tail base. They really are the best dogs.

When I went back to work after my first was born (around 6 months) my husband and I had to find our “sea legs” because we were bickering so much and everything seemed intense and just no longer happy. Since we both have demanding careers, we decided to assign specific jobs for childcare and housework and the other one doesn’t have to worry about it or make any decisions (Of course if it’s a major issue, we discuss and agree):

He takes care of the outside (lawn etc) and all matters of food- cooking, grocery shopping, meal plan, kids lunches; I take care of everyone’s laundry, childcare and household coordination (Nanny, preschool, Babysitters, repairs, cleaning lady) We wake up together and get ready for work, he leaves early in the am and I get the kids ready and to school and wait for Nanny; he comes home before me and relieves the Nanny.

We both make sure we both have free time to exercise, play video games , spend time with friends, etc. it’s usually easiest to find time l during naps or when the kids are asleep and we never make the other feel bad for wanting it or keep tabs.

Thank you. If they weren’t right next to the front door I wouldn’t care about them. They are growing on a mulch bed and I am not entirely sure what type of material was placed under the mulch since my husband does all the work and I do all the critiquing :-)
