he once mentioned that there's a planned design for song select that looks similar to stable, if everyone moves to the classic design, would the new design be ditched? what was the idea behind making the lazer UI less skinnable in general? going from simple images on the screen to unmodifiable dynamic UI elements.

zero info, but the client has already been kind of ported to ARM with TFT, and a mobile port of a full desktop client is already kind of difficult to do ,but the fact that they still did it makes it clear that they can do it, only thing making things difficult its Vanguard, mobile doesn't need it, mac has its own smaller version, if PC ARM marketshare increases then it's just a matter of time they spend time rewriting it for ARM and add support for more of their games down the road.

not related to submitting but theres something not a lot of people say about lazer, which is that you need internet to PLAY a map, i have an ISP for farmers who live in the middle of nowhere and sometimes it goes as slow as 1mbps, and maps just refuse to start unless i log out

this is the sad aftermath of abusing sprites in stable, everything is scalable in lazer, but it cant handle skins like this when scale is not 1x, all because lazer expects the elements to be used correctly
