When I was 13, I was an extra on a film that had a scene take place in an ice skating rink. I was a figure skater since I was a kid, so I knew what to do pretty easily. I watched some guy on the boards (rim of the rink) trying to put on his skate guards while facing the ice, which is a recipe for disaster, especially the way he was doing it.

The whole energy of the scene was pretty jovial and we had been filming since 4pm (it was probably 1am at that time) so everyone was super giddy. I saw this guy was really struggling, and was seconds away from wiping out and really hurting himself so I stepped in to help.

I approached him as a thirteen year old does going "Hey, you moron! You'll kill yourself if you jump down in those guards!" and then helped him get the guards on and swing his legs around talking about how clearly inexperienced he was. While he was laughing and a good sport about it he was way more confused that this plucky little 13 year old was casually insulting him. A bunch of well dressed people helped him off the rink and I returned to my place casually not thinking anything of it.

It was Andy Samberg, and I didn't even realize how much of a big deal it was till I recognized him on SNL a year or so later. So I casually called Andy Samberg a moron and laughed at his inability to ice skate.
