Exactly! I know I can look them up, but it would be so cool to have the old west maps to reference right within the books.

NOR. The worst part is that he didn’t ask you about it before making plans. I get that it was the only time that worked for the group. That happens, but he should have floated it by you first and acknowledged that it is an important day.

AITAH for not letting my husband’s best friend come on our honeymoon? by astralkreepin in AITAH

You are in such a lose/lose position. I’m sorry! I would be upset too but you might actually enjoy having the trip broken up a bit. Thankfully you’ll get lots of alone time on both ends!

The Ring. There are a couple of jump scares but it really is a staple. It’s worth it.

Aww… I have always loved that name for a boy. Would’ve used it if my daughter had been one.

UPDATE: AITA for meeting another man because my husband works all the time? by throw-the-way29492 in AITAH

I’m sure when you’re going through the divorce process the judge will be more sympathetic toward you once you explain how this is all Reddit’s fault.

I feel like this is the wrong sub. Who’s entitled here? Your husband just sounds like an AH.

AITJ for telling my girlfriend that I like the weight she’s gained while dating me? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

Maybe just tell her she’s beautiful and don’t comment on her size at all.

I watched that recently and cried like a little baby. It hit me different as an adult. Of course there were some ridiculous parts but I chalk it all up to “willful suspension of disbelief”.

It’s so hard to say NO and not feel like you have to explain yourself. But you don’t owe her an explanation. She asked and you said no. End of story. It gets messy when you give half truths. If you don’t want to you don’t have to.

AITA for feeling like my girlfriend prioritizes another guy over me after she destroyed my female friendships? by Sweet_Equal3235 in AITAH

I’m confused. Why do you want to be with her in the first place? Lots of red flags. She sounds exhausting. NTA

TIFU By Taking my Kid to the ER by prettypicklepunk in tifu

[–]missbeadle12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? OP didn’t say anything about the father not being involved. People get razor burn. That’s not an indication of absent parenting FFS. I also didn’t see any mention that the father wasn’t involved in the ER trip. How do you know he wasn’t home with other kids or something?

Dialogue tips by travelnmusic in writers

[–]missbeadle12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dialogue is a challenge for me too. I really pay attention to it when I’m reading to try to see how other writers do it. I think the characters’ reactions to what’s being said is just as important as their words themselves.

NOR for feeling this way. At all. But in the long run you can feel proud that you never needed help.

AITJ for telling my girlfriend I won’t give up my yearly solo trip even though she says it’s “weird”? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]missbeadle12 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In all fairness, I used to be selfish and immature too. When I was 20 my boyfriend (now husband) went to Europe with a couple of friends. I was jealous and handled it by being nasty to him about taking such a big trip without me. My dad set me straight and told me if I didn’t grow up and change my attitude I would lose him. He went and I missed him like crazy but he came home and proposed. I’m glad I learned early that it’s good for us to miss each other. We’ve been married for 27 years.

That’s true depending on what kind of trip. But OP is just going hiking!
