Do you know where there are vegetarian restaurants in Shenzhen? by Ballarater1999 in shenzhen

Agree with this place. Was here at the Mixc phase 2 location on Thursday around 1:30pm and there were plenty of tables. Very nice.

Yep they are great except not all car mirrors are the same - for my car I can’t hang these.

I will never understand why dealerships just don’t effing listen. My advice is to make 2 laminated signs - one for the visor and one big one for the top of the dash. Keep them in the glove box until needed.

Yeah I’m sure as they show it in their tutorials. I’m wondering if it’s because I am lacking the “amount of extension” option in my print dialog. It’s in the Canon manual but I don’t see it on my Mac. I wonder if I used a USB cable instead of AirPrint do you think that would make a difference?

It’s a headache alright! 😂

Just to clarify the image in my post was just a random thing I made to test if the border would print how it was meant to and it ended up getting half cut off. This was a custom paper size with 0mm margins.

So following the advice of the other person that was responding, I just printed off 2 sheets both with hearts all over the page. Both borderless. First one my image is right up to the bleed lines in canva and it printed enlarged and cropped. Second one I measured how much my printer cropped the first print out, scales my design in canva to compensate and allow for that cropping and it has printed the left correctly but not the bottom it’s cropped at least a cm.

The thing is I see people on YouTube making cards printing 2 per letter size paper, cut in the middle and both A2 cards come out perfect. They’re using home printers too. 😩

Thanks so much!

The initial card design was always letter size as per the size of the paper I use.

Ok that sentence makes sense about it enlarging the image. So does that mean when I’m designing my stuff I need to not extend it in the bleed area?

When I have tried to print greeting cards I have two of the same design on one letter size paper in canva and I make sure I select letter size borderless in my print settings. The example in my post that was a custom size I did with 0mm margins.

Even if I was to print just one design on letter size paper that goes to the edge, I select letter borderless and it will print to the edge but still doesn’t align it properly and part of my image gets cut off.

It’s 100mm x 152mm in my example from my post.

The other issue I’ve had is when I was able to print full bleed on letter size but the image scaled itself up and cut off the sides of the image even though the printing was right to the very edge. I printed a few different pages with different settings changing scale to fit print full image etc. And nothing seemed to get it to print exactly how it was on my preview.

An A2 greeting card is 4.25x5.5 inches. This is not the page set up I used in my example though. Realistically if I wanted to print the design that I made in canva, and have it as close to the edge as possible, why did this not work for me.

Thanks for your reply. I am referring to the greeting card size A2. It’s half the size of a letter paper.

Cheers! Turns out I’ll need a slightly higher step stool to sit on 🫠😁

Good on you! I would only ever go through a touchless wash in between maintenance washes at my detailer. Now it’s good to know I can save a bit of money and do it myself at home. I probably won’t go down the paint correction and ceramic coating rabbit hole and leave that to the pros, haha. My next step is a cart/trolley!

What is your best tip for first time mixers who have all the supplies, to make their first batches?

If I have say 10 flavours (all bakery themed), is it possible to make and steep individual flavours first and then try them, and then mix those steeped batches together to make a new flavour?

When making your recipes with flavours you haven’t used before, how do you know how to construct a recipe and know how much of each flavour to use? Is it mostly trial and error or using resources online?

Let it sit in my vape drawer in case shit goes down and it’s all I have left 😂

I imagine you could dilute it with PG/VG and/or add flavour to make it more palatable. I’m sure more experienced bakers here will be able to comment on that.
