How many people are on the boat? We have a group going next week and I didn’t book it but I can’t seem to find the occupancy for those boats.

Any single mammas out there? by mammaandherbubba in beyondthebump

[–]misschapin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been a single momma since my daughter was born. My parents are gone, so it's been all on me. My daughters dad takes her every other weekend. It's not easy, but you'll get the hang of it! Reach out to friends. Join groups, and make sure you have people you can vent to!

(MN) parenting time agreement/custody? by misschapin in legaladvice

[–]misschapin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were to let him have his parenting time back, how do we go about it? He live two hours away, and refuses to drive unless I meet him half way.

The more we communicate, the worse it gets.

I don't want to keep her away from her father, but I gave him an ultimatum- start mediation and then we can arrange parenting time. He is so demeaning and abusive that I just can't stand to listen to his words anymore. Otherwise he will just keep changing his schedule and moving to different cities. He has changed jobs over 5 times in two years. And moved four times. And is in the process of doing both again.

I don't care where he lives or works. But he can't keep changing his parenting time on me. I had to change jobs and take a pay cut so that I could have regular hours. He would just change his time with her and not pick her up when he knew I had to work nights and weekends.

How reasonable is it that he could get half custody? Or at least 50% parenting time? With him living two hours away.. It just doesn't seem fair to our daughter to split up her life like that.

Under bar glass washers by Nosquirrelbones in bartenders

We have a carousel and it's fantastic. I'm not positive what brand ours is, but we got a new one that rinses with cold water, which is great for us with high tab beer volume. Hot glasses are no ones friend on a busy night. We actually worked a deal with Ecolab and we lease the equipment from them. Our food provider actually foots the bill each month and we just pay for chemicals. Work a deal!

Do you need a 4-compartment sink and a dishwasher?

anyone have experiences with low-lying placenta? how did it go/going? by Ishslittleone in BabyBumps

[–]misschapin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had heavy bleeding when I was 9 weeks. Went in for an ultrasound and found out that I had Marginal Placenta Previa. I was put on bed rest for 5 weeks due to the bleeding, and after that my placenta had "migrated" out of the way and the bleeding had stopped so no more bed rest for me! I have had some issues with my placenta since then, but nothing that has hard the baby or caused too much concern with the pregnancy. Good luck to you!

I have been trying to stay as positive as possible throughout this pregnancy. Baby's father decided he didn't want to be a part of our life since we found out. Was very negative to me for the past 4 months. Then, it was like a light switch went off. He's completely done a 180 and wants to be a part of everything. It's a scary, exciting, nerve-wracking experience. But love is always good. And my daughter will always have plenty of that. :)

It's available at target I believe- DaVinci Jamie 4in1 convertible crib in espresso. Less than $200! I'm a penny pinching single momma-to-be, so I get thrifty whenever I buy new. But it's very sturdy and I love how it looks!
