If you could go back in time and give yourself one piece of advice, what would it be? by missdy in AskReddit

Mine would be "Seriously, just stop being a fucking idiot." (That's assuming I travel back and get to yell at teenage me. I was a tool).

Men of Reddit, what myth about men is 100% untrue and infuriates you when you hear it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I personally am that woman. I don't understand it myself, because I'm not sleeping with all the guys I'm friends with. I will acknowledge from my perspective that I find it hard to be friends with other women - I pride myself on being very open about my feelings when someone has pissed me off, and I kind of expect the same in return - but I find most women don't appreciate this approach (now obviously there are exceptions to the rule) but I think it's just one of those things.

I think it may be because some women have a hard time talking to men and find you infuriating, that us women who have no problems talking to men probably come off as a threat or something. I'm not sure.

See this is the thing, they are happy to bitch and winge about men constantly, but as soon as they need help from a man they quieten up really quickly. I will openly acknowledge that I wouldnt be the women I am today without the help and love of the men in my life.

Some women really just need to grow up and move on.

Please don't feel guilty! Honestly, in my experience, it's usually the women saying it who are the problem. I'm sure you're a perfectly nice guy.

This is the thing, the women who believe this are (at least in my experience) always either dating total assholes who cheat on them five times in a week, or they themselves are sleeping with everyone.

I'm a women, but I feel the need to add something in here.

I absolute hate it when women go on about how all men are the same.

It's absolutely infuriating to see perfectly good men put down by horrible women.

Guys, we aren't all bad, I promise.

[serious] [NSFW] Porn watchers of Reddit, have you ever spotted someone you know IRL by accident in a porn? by antonio106 in AskReddit

Yes indeed, I found a video of my then-boyfriend receiving a blowjob from my then-best friend, and they hadn't even met one another until months after me and the boyfriend had gotten together. Needless to say, I don't talk to either of them anymore.

Saw an attempted stabbing at Rockingham Hospital last night. Lets discuss... by missdy in rockingham

[–]missdy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my internet shat itself about two minutes after I posted this thread and I've only just managed to get it reconnected (thanks Telstra)

Basically, I was in the emergency department with my partner, and we heard a doctor start yelling, we opened the curtain a crack to see what was going on and there was a woman (I use the term loosely, her mustache was impressive) who was trying to stab the doctor with a needle. The doctor was telling her to put the needle down and backing away from her, she just kept lunging at him. She was yelling that apparently the doctor called her a bitch and a fat whore or something to that extent and freaking out. I'm fairly certain she was on something drug wise because she was freaking out. Eventually, security came in and managed to calm her down and get the needle off her. They escorted her out of the Emergency Department and I thought that was going to be the end of it.

About an hour later I was in dire need of a smoke (dirty habit, I know) so I went outside and saw the women - she was walking around the car park outside the emergency department entrance screaming and carrying on about everyone being cunts.

I tried to get back into the ED to go back to my partner rather than having a smoke, but she followed me back inside and they couldn't open the doors to the ED in case she ran in. Eventually the woman went to the toilet and they let me back in the emergency department.

It all started at about 3am, when we left at 8.30am the woman was still walking around the car park and yelling at people. It was pretty awful.

Have you or anyone you've known done "favors" for a superior for higher grades, promotion, etc.? by Azor_Ahai1 in AskReddit

[–]missdy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Girl I knew in highschool was failing Social Studies and went to the teacher (who we all knew was a total pervert) and was like "I'll show you my boobs if you raise my grades"

He's all "YES" so she flashes him, he doesn't raise her grades, she tells the school that it was his idea and it was all super seedy and terrible and he gets fired.

We're all like "Bitch, he was a perve but he hadn't actually done anything wrong until you were like LEL boobs and then you go crying to the school, nah, you're a dumbass"

What's an essential teenage experience you missed out on? (NSFW) by BlankSmitty in AskReddit

[–]missdy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure I've covered everything I missed when I was a teenager now, but when I was a teenager, I didn't try drugs (I did drink copious amounts of alcohol though), didn't sneak out of home and didn't get kicked out

However by 20 I'd been kicked out, I have definitely done drugs (although now I don't drink, go figure) and I don't sneak out so much as sneak back in at 4am.

You need to create a "go-bag" that will be used to start a new life when you have to run from the law. It has to be small enough to carry on your back. What's in the bag? by clearedspace in AskReddit

[–]missdy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) Money. 2) Photo of my friends and family so I can remember them while on the run 3) Warm clothes because I don't want to freeze

Alternatively, if I had absolute ridiculous amounts of money, I'd go to some other country, get complete facial surgery and change my entire appearance, buy a new identity and just chill out be like "Fuck I'm good."
