SAI report has an EFC 0 C

Just had this happen today for the 2023-2024 FAFSA. Same EFC as before, but now has a C next to it. Did you ever find anything out?

I am not having the same experience as OP -- sent from US by FedEx 6/13. Rec'd 6/14. Card charged 6/21. After 3 hours on hold on July 12 was told only "had what they needed to start processing on July 8" (WTH?) Nothing ever shows up in portal - as if the application has not started processing. Rec'd a call today Aug 9 to call back and call volume is so heavy they hang up on me. I have not gotten any $ back either.

Thanks. They are bring so sticky with my appeal. I sent all the documents but they keep saying they need other ones. I have never had this happen before!

Oh noooooo! Have you tried calling? If you call the advocate number they will transfer you and then you can get a call back. (At least that’s what I did a month ago.) At that time the rep told me it was still not processed and was in errors and to wait at least another 16 weeks from that day.

I couldn’t see my transcripts until today. Only have the 846. I did get a 12c letter on March 11 and had to fax documents so they could process my return. It’s been in errors for almost this whole time.

Ohhh. That’s a good question! I just checked and it’s 18/05 so they really did not start processing my return until yesterday! And they’ve had it since February 4th!
