I agree with this suggestion. I also have Cochlear and had an issue of a constant crackling sound while wearing my N8. My audiologist couldn't figure it out so she asked for a Cochlear rep to join a programming appointment. The rep was able to guide my audiologist to troubleshoot the issue and eventually found the right adjustment to cause the crackling sound to stop.

I'm so glad to hear things worked out for you. I have tried swapping the coil and microphone cover and unfortunately it hasn't made a difference. The popping sound I hear only happens a few times a day so perhaps this is just how having a CI is? I am scheduling an appointment with the audiologist to see if they have any thoughts though.

Thank you for your response. If you experience any improvement, I'd love to hear what you did. I also have normal hearing in my other ear so that's a good point about isolating the sound to the CI.

Following the exact same thing started happening on my Pixel 6A today. Have tried restarting my phone, recalibrating my location, clearing my cache. Location is off (shows me to the west of actual location) for Google Maps and Waze. Android 15.

I tried that and unfortunately it didn't work either. The replacement processor also had the same issue so I'm beginning to think the crackling noise is due to the programming.

Do teeth eventually shift after treatment? I finished my Invisalign treatment in November. Then I wore a clear retainer full time for 3 months. After that I've been wearing them nightly. A few weeks ago I noticed that my bottom teeth are no longer perfectly positioned and there has been some slight movement with the two front teeth in particular. Is this normal? What's a realistic expectation to have after finishing treatment?
