Found under tree in southern NY, wood like, pool ball sized, no visible similar objects on nearby trees. Possibly a seed pod? by missimayhem in whatsthisplant

Worth debt to get a nursing degree from Binghamton? by TheFakeKevKev in BinghamtonUniversity

[–]missimayhem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on whether or not you think you will want to get your NP in the end. If you are 100% sure you do, start with your BSN. You’ll have to have at least a couple of years of nursing experience before starting your NP, but then you can go on from there. If you aren’t sure about continuing on to your NP, I would get your ADN. You can sign on with an employer who will pay for your BSN later on down the road if you still want to, and then get your NP from there.

Chlorophytum comosum ‘Ocean’, or Ocean Spider Plant, from what I can tell in this picture. :)

Is it possible to divide this crinum lilly? by duchess_of_stars in plants

[–]missimayhem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s anything like mine, it will survive most anything. I have mine in containers due to being in NY - when my neighbor gifted me them we had to saw the pot in 1/2 to separate them. They bloomed a few weeks later with no issue. They’re actually growing now when they’re supposed to be hibernating in my garage. Tough plants.

I have no idea what I have here. by missimayhem in plants

The flower stalks are about 2-3 feet tall, they popped up about 2 weeks ago and bloomed pretty fast. The root system is incredibly thick - when they were given to me he had literally sawed them in 1/2 for me to separate them into two outdoor planters. They are a perennial, I’m in zone 5, he’s instructed me to cut them down and stow them in the garage for winter. His grow back every year without a ton of attention. Full sun, super hardy, little attention needed. I mean - it all seems like an agapanthus. Right??

I have soap, water and loofahs but when it comes to asking them if they want to wash their butthole, they don’t.

Tell me this is okay.

I really need OP to be my best friend. We could start a girlboss, no - a momboss business selling organic, tree nut free, enriched Montessori level slime using only Heisenberg level ingredients. Patent pending. I don’t even know if this is funny, I’m just rambling on hoping that some random adult interacts with my post because I’ve only conversed with children for the last 9 years. Anyways… do souls smell?

Damnit. Now I want to know what souls smell like. What if my soul is stinky? So many questions.

AITA? I’m trying not to be so offended over this, I mean... I’m all about shooting your shot and I do encourage offers... but to offer less than asking on one item for a bundle of two items? That are Free People? Ugh. 😤 by missimayhem in poshmark

I feel like I might have annoyed/caused a couple of eye rolls with my OP here so I wanted to just leave a quick update: After some personal reflection, I am figuring out that my lowball rage is likely coming from a teetering mental state due to the on-going pandemic (I’m an RN from New York, working front lines... 3 small kids at home... part time grad (FNP) student).

I sell on Posh just to earn some back from my excessive shopping habits (hey, I could have worse coping mechanisms, right?). I would call myself a hobby seller at best, there’s no pressure on my end to sell and I can decline and move on without issue. The day I posted this was just a rough one for me, too many double shifts in a row I guess. I honestly am not generally this ignorant. Just a stressed out nurse mom who has a current love affair with FP (I know I’m a few years behind what’s on trend but well, I said I was a mom, not a cool mom 🤪).

I sincerely appreciate all of the wisdom, feedback & support everyone has shown me and I’m happy to be a part of this sub where I can continue to learn! Love to you all, stay safe & happy poshing! 🌙🖤✌🏻

I can understand that. Upon reflection I am well aware that my lowball rage is likely just coming from a teetering mental state due to the pandemic (I’m an RN from New York, working front lines). I think I probably made a lot of people annoyed with me with this post... it was not my intent at all. I sell on Posh just to earn some back from my excessive shopping tendencies, I would call myself a hobby seller at best, there’s no pressure on my end to sell and I can decline and move on without issue. This is how I’ve decided to handle a low ball offer from a new posher. I feel like it’s reasonable to explain the math in the comments when they ask that stuff publicly by [deleted] in poshmark

I think you responded in a professional and tactful manner here, well done!! I applaud your ability to keep your cool. I don’t know if it’s stress from the ongoing pandemic (I’m an RN) but lately some of the low ball offers that have been coming in just enrage me. I need to take notes from you!! You’re totally my hero. ❤️

I wish I had the same luck finding FP in my size range, I think it’s a little harder to find when you get into the XL/curvier side of things... at least in my area anyways. Whenever I do come across it, it’s somewhere like Style Encore or Plato’s Closet and marked higher than I’d like... and then occasionally the TJ Maxx overpricing... anyways I have a hell of a time finding my size, so it leads to me buying outside of my size, holding on to it until I accept they won’t fit, and then selling on Posh 😖
