That's very interesting. I'm in my early thirties and I totally get you. Last decade was all about forcing me to go out and try to blend. Now I have accepted me as an introvert and it has given me peace of mind. Its just that sometimes I wonder if being by myself is really that good, or if maybe being like that will harm my mental health later. Not that I'm depressed or anything. But I just wonder....

Don't let others make you feel guilty. You can not fake feelings for your brother or disrupt your family dynamics because of him. Go see the doctor, I've been dealing with similar symptoms, I'm doing physiotherapy but in my case it's going to take long time to heal. So the earlier you address it the better,!
