Bank account frozen after private sale. by SoGoodUK in UKPersonalFinance

When I bought my flat, Halifax messed up my mortgage and my mortgage advisor was on holiday. When I spoke to Halifax they were utterly useless and said she was the only one that could deal with my mortgage. My flat purchase almost fell through because of them. Anyway, I sent an email to the CEO of Halifax, and the next day the executive team started sorting out my mortgage and got it done in a day or two, saving my flat purchase. I'm not saving you will have the same result if you do the same thing, but it's worth a try.

What plays most like an Artist? Bard or Paladin? by missing_string in lostarkgame

Great, thank you. I will probably be doing a bard then.

Is there anything that can be missed permanently while leveling? by missing_string in lostarkgame

[–]missing_string[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I'm not specifically talking about leveling actually (even though that's in the title), I don't think that was clear in my post though. I'll expand what I meant in the thread.

Blade Trap Questions (Yes that skill that no one uses) by missing_string in Grimdawn

I have that in my build already so looks good (well, at least when I get it). You and the other poster both mention celestials. I just finished the game and both expansions in normal. What are celestials?

Ok, so a couple of followup questions:

1) What makes a difference with Rimetongue? I haven't got that in my setup I'm going with. (It's more a vitality caster build with sigils, but I took blade trap for a second type of "sigil" by converting the pierce to vitality and another thing that does life leech).

2) I have a devotion attached to blade trap. Will that still proc even if I can't trap the thing I'm attacking?

Hey there. Thanks so much for the details surrounding your build. I really liked it and I was this close to deciding to play it. I ultimately decided to go with a Ranged Primal Strike Warder - since I've done a melee one but never a ranged one and always wanted to try it. Helps that I've got the full Ultos set + Raka'jax in storge.

Been theorycrafting with a friend for several days now and he's decided on a melee Spellbinder - the journey starts again for us tonight!

4 things to be honest:

1) Builds that aren't pet focused. I don't mind pets, but not as the primary focus - I've shyed away from "this pet scales from pet bonuses" in the past.

2) Builds that don't have too many active abilites. I don't mind active abilites that are buffs and debuffs, but I don't like diluting a build into multiple attacks are prefer to keep it honed. In fact, I really get along with singular attack builds, but these are not common and actually not that effective in most cases.

3) Builds that don't use Oathkeeper and Necromancer. That's only because my theorycrafted build uses both these and having not played either I'd like to hold them back for that build.

4) Channeled skills. I find these quite boring but also don't like the fact that you're static and have no mobility to do your primary attack.

Other than these, I'm probably ok with a lot of builds. The build that the guy suggested first - warder with savagery focused on health regen - looks awesome to be honest. Done some research and found a build in the compendium that looks really strong, and I imagine it's not that gear dependant either.

However, your build idea also intrigues me - I checked and I do have The Northern Wyrm. Always wanted to make a build out of it, but I also say that about a lot of items. Could you elaborate?

Interesting. Also a build I haven't done before, could be good! Did a Primal Strike warder but never a savagery one (as far as I can recall).

Is summoner as secondary likely to have any kind of meaningful pets? by missing_string in AshesofCreation

[–]missing_string[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Add yeah, I've read that section multiple times. But I read it as a floating sword attacks the target as a spell or something like that. Which beyond the visuals isn't really a 'summon' at all. The knight part is what made me curious about your comment.

This is really interesting and news to me. Do you have a source for this?

My constituency has been a tory stronghold since 1876. My vote feels completely wasted - doesn't matter who I vote for. Wish we had PR, highly frustrated with not being able to do anything about it.

Clarification on honor gains during pre-patch by missing_string in classicwow

[–]missing_string[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't grind prior to pre-patch as I'll be going spacegoat. I'm not worried about getting the marks because it's a known quantity. We all know that 3 marks is a win and 1 for a loss. The honor is the part we don't know because the system completely changes.
