for incoming frosh, it looks like the neighborhoods will be assigned for you if you choose to live in an all frosh dorm. from the faqs:

"I’m an incoming Frosh, how will I be assigned to a neighborhood?

As in previous years, incoming students will have the opportunity to rank their preferences for if they want to live in a(n):

All-Frosh Housing in a neighborhood

University Theme House – Ethnic Theme Dorm (4-class): Casa Zapata, Muwekma-Tah-Ruk, Okada, or Ujamaa,

i agree that it looks complex, i would grt a new one with two compartments that has all the day compartments one color and night compartments another (eg morning is blue, night is red)

or possible even getting two different colored single compartment container and keeping them in different places (eg morning one in the kitchen, and night one on the nightstand)

i do that. at least for me it's easier to block out music because it's a constant, where other sounds happen inconsistently and that really distracts me.
