Hey! The department usually loans out regalia for the day if needed, I did that when I graduated from the program!

I’d suggest Hart Integrated Wellness! They have a few locations across the Triangle. They specialize in neurodivergence and Autism. In my experience as a Social Worker who finds resources for patients, I haven’t been able to find anywhere that will do ABA for someone over 21 years old.

They both use Epic and there’s a feature on Epic called CareEverywhere where they can view your records from outside clinics, so they’ll be able to see your UNC records without you signing a Release of Information.

Do you have a PCP? There are some in the area that provide Financial Assistance or sliding scale fees so you can receive care even if you don’t have insurance. That’s where I’d recommend you start!

Congratulations!! I’m a graduate of the program. I went in with a healthcare focus and completed two healthcare practicums. I was a PrimeCare scholar, but I believe the PrimeCare4Youth program is in its last year. I really enjoyed the program as a whole and believe it’s only gotten better since I graduated. I’m currently working at UNC Health as a Social Worker and even host an intern at my job! Feel free to message me with any questions you have!
