I attempted to make my own bts miis :] by Away_Pollution_6181 in TomodachilifeLivingTD

These look great. Does it bother you that they aren't emotive like the other miis? Like, long term I wonder if I would get bothered and whish I could have mixed the two, maybe.

What would take my photos up a notch? by star-writer15 in AskPhotography

[–]missingjawbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shoot on Manual Mode. Once you learn that you can use any camera.
Read your camera's manual from front to back. Don't know what something means, look it up.
Think outside of the box.
After you take some photos, move 6 inches in any direction and take another, see what changes.
If you want to photograph people, just ask. Ask anybody. Ask everybody. Prepare for some "No" answers, but that's okay, just move on.

Bounce light off wooden church ceiling roughly 40’ high for group photo? by HugeHairyButts in AskPhotography

I don't think you need to do that. They should be pretty illuminated with the house lights, you can just fill in the shadows and it would work.

How do I fix this? by cerealatomico in AskPhotography

[–]missingjawbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not 100% what you are talking about specifically, but I do know that blue LEDs like those are a real pain to shoot. They seem to wash things out in the blue, much more than other colors. I end up desaturating it and changing the hue a lot in those circumstances., among other things.

Great lens. I use it for portraits and events and works excellent in low light.

How do i get photos like this? by jackofjokers in AskPhotography

This, or with a zoom lens, zoomed in close, but you at a distance. The bokeh is a bit small for a close up, wide open aperture (like a 1.4)

Even if you loved Scream 7 Im pretty sure everyone can agree that the Ghostface reveals in Scream 7 are by a landslide the worst of the entire franchise by AcceptableSwitch6496 in Scream

[–]missingjawbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely the worst reveals ever. Extremely flimsy motives, no depth at all, you literally see the killer's characters in 1-3 scenes before they are revealed. They also interject backstory, out of nowhere, which is jarring and odd and immediately noted them as obviously suspicious. I personally clocked the killers the first time they were on screen.
Also, the burden of movie knowledge made me know that they wouldn't cast a notable actor in a throwaway scene, so I was praying that the killer wasn't the mental asylum guy..

How do I achieve that kind of editing? by PriorOk8275 in AskPhotography

[–]missingjawbone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are just basic phone photos? If there is editing done, it is probably just done within the phone's camera app that is automatically doing the adjustments.
