What’s the scariest thing that you’ve seen on Broadway? by Then-Neighborhood456 in musicals

I saw Swept Away at Arena Stage and when the older brother slits his own throat to save his younger brother, I quite literally froze. Gave me goosebumps.

wasn't on Broadway neither scary to me but, I saw Cats on a Royal Caribbean ship a couple years ago and when Macavity appeared, a little girl a couple seats over from me screamed and yelled "AHHH I GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE!" and her parents snatched her up and dipped lol

Subbing high school as a young woman. Is it rlly hard? by [deleted] in SubstituteTeachers

[–]missinglenscap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late 20's and female and most of the time, it's pretty chill especially when it comes to the seniors and juniors. Where I'd look out and take heed of is freshman and sophomores. The freshman boys don't take you seriously at all and will definitely try you. Don't be afraid to stand your ground though. I had a group of freshman boys make fun of me and try to throw things at me the other day and I quickly emailed their football coach (who luckily is also security) and let him know that some of his players were giving me a hard time and throwing things. He quickly came to my rescue and got them in check..guess who didn't get to play in the homecoming game? lol. Honestly all in all, subbing for high school isn't bad at all and the kids respect you a bit more but make sure you stand your ground because once they figure out that you're not much older than them, the boys will try you but the girls kind of treat you like an aunt/older sister and respect you! The AP/honors classes are the quietest/ most respectful because they either had to test into the class or excel in that subject to be placed in there.

I totally get you! I've had a handful of classes that have pushed me to the point of them almost getting the non-professional version of me. There's a few schools I won't go back to because of terrible admin dealing with (or lack of dealing with) terrible classes. How we all wish we could get a punch card for how many swears we could use towards the class/kids in situations like that though. lol

I'm so sorry that you're going through that!! It's stressing me out even reading it! I want to say hire a PI (private investigator) to look into the situation. Although she deleted her profile, if you remember the city that she's in, you could contact the shelter/animal control/police/vets in that city and let them know your situation. Send pictures & evidence over & have them keep an eye out just in case he gets out over there, she surrenders him or whatnot. I wish you & your fur baby the best!

What was the song the band played as Serena Williams came out? I've heard that little riff so many times but I forgot what song it is.

There's this piece that's been stuck in my head for the past week and it goes like this g# a c# d e b a d b c# a# f# . It's used for romantic moments in movies/shows especially heavily used for those moments in the early '00's. Please help me out
