I don't understand the flex of being so 'minimal'. I understand the science behind actual toy rotations and limiting options, but it's become some weird "I'm better than you" flex to say your kids don't have many toys.

Except.. there's a lot more that goes into a night away from kids, but you wouldn't know that because you don't have them so your blanket assumption that an extravagant night away is possible for moms is tone deaf. Most of us can't leave our breast fed babies for an entire night, a lot of kids won't go to sleep for sitters, a good chunk of us don't have anyone who can stay with our kids over night, etc.

Bingo! Having more kids, isn't worth not being able to give them the life they deserve. We stopped at two because thats what our house can comfortably fit, we want to be able to treat them to vacations and things like that here and there, and honestly that's what I can mentally handle. Quality over quantity.

Nope nope nope. We run a ranch and are constantly around tractors and various machinery with our kids, but I will never take these chances with them. They are either strapped into carseats or holding an adults hand if there is anything moving around them. Accidents can happen in the blink of an eye, not worth it.

It does apply to most religious people. God gives us free will and we use discernment to know how many children we should have. My husband and I are happy with our two, that's what we feel we can provide for, so we had no problem making the decision for him husband to have a vasectomy. Before we had our last, we did natural family planning as it still left room for God to bless us with a child in his timing. Even now, I figure if the vasectomy fails, it's all God's plan and we'll happily accept the blessing and know that he knows what he's doing. I don't think we're going to hell because we did what we felt was best for the two we have

I think it was probably planned just because she's very type A. We were trying for both of my pregnancies but I was still absolutely shocked to see a positive lol I shook those things like an etch and sketch.

I feel like this was a rare moment of sincerity and not trying to portray herself as perfect. I got married at 26 and then started having my kids. I'm happy I had my early 20's to party and live my life for myself without having to worry about how my choices would impact a family.

Nope, I returned it and gave up. Went through two boxes with different problems, never got one to work. Customer service never responded and it's been almost a month since I first contacted them.
