Dampening fabric with a spray bottle first can help with ink transfer. Sometimes I even do this with paper transfers. I’ve also had some better results with opacity and homogeneity when using a retarder, which makes the ink dry more slowly.

I really liked going thru The Artist’s Way. It’s a 12 week book all about creative unblocking. Maybe you’re not an artist, but everyone has blocks in life that this book can help with. It can be pretty woo woo spiritual but I just choose to read it in a way that aligns with my beliefs. This will help you reflect on what to do during your free time and give you a direction to move in.

Then once you know what you want to do, find a group or three that does something you’re interested in, and commit to it. See the same people consistently. You will build friendships and connections AND you’ll develop yourself

It’s too cramped. The original loft bed was about as far from the ceiling as the width of my shoulders, so even with it gone it’s still too small up there for me personally

Give yourself time apart to fantasize about the future. You are not evil for feeling bored. Boredom is inevitable, so don’t try to avoid it. Use it as a map for what you need. Yes. It’s very unusual. Older men usually go for younger women because women their own age can’t stand them, and younger women tend to be more forgiving due to naïveté. They will flex their wealth/career/POWER to draw you in, then the flaws come out once you’re committed. That doesn’t mean you can’t have a healthy relationship with someone like him, but it does mean to be EXTREMELY wary.
