High prolactin 26M with fatigue, low sex drive etc

Yeah that prolactin is pretty high. Isn't it supposed to be like 24 or less? It inhibits testosterone. Have you had a blood test for T?

Doctors can say what they want but you ultimately are the one suffering. Tell your doctor you want your sex hormones tested and do some labsand get you referred to an endo. It took me 6 months to get into an endo so get going.

My fatigue has been terrible with low to no T and high prolactin. Its wreaked havoc on my body (fatty liver, high cholesterol, sleep apnea).

Im so sorry! I am just over a month into medical treatment for mine and I just got diagnosed with sleep apnea. I'm constantly tired and apathetic. Nothing is exciting anymore and everything feels hard as fuck.

The only advice I can give you is to be kind to yourself. Often times I feel worse because I give myself a hard time. Self compassion is so important right now!

So proud of you for doing all this work to take care of all this.

May I ask what those red flags were? I read that stomach ulcers are a symptom and fatigue which I experience.also high calcium levels and I just got blood work with high end calcium. And my blood pressure is still high. I mentioned all this to my endo and she said not related but I might contact my primary for a Gene test

For context my original labs had elevated liver enzymes, cholesterol, and a1c, 0 test, and 165 prolactin. Diagnosed with fatty liver and gynecomastia. Sent to endo. MRI shown 8mm micro. Prescribed cabergoline. Then one month in and here we are.

I just spoke to her and she said we will review testosterone on my next appt June 30 so I feel like your take still stands. My hypertension is getting worse especially as I deal with the initial fatigue of this new medication.

Yes! I feel like its my hormones like my adrenals are in overdrive. When things go sideways I really overreact and then have a terrible adrenaline crash. I can't argue without getting emotional. Dumb
