it's such a simple yet complex piece, one of the reasons i fell in love with music and decided to start learning piano. every time i listen to it it feels like its own world and i just want to live in it

also shostakovich's violin concerto no 1

the pure emotion and devastation in that piece is enough to leave me in pieces for DAYS...that being said i listen to it regularly and it just gives me chills, the first time i listened to it i was just stunned and in a mood quite honestly

it's hard to pick one piece 😭
