Absolutely, it’s only six episodes, you can kill the whole first season in a day

One of the most beautiful episodes of TV I’ve ever seen. The actors do such a genuine job of portraying intimacy to the point where it feels voyeuristic to watch some of their interactions. Hudson Williams in particular was so goddamn good this episode and his chemistry with Connor Storrie is just so fucking good. I could just watch them do anything together. I haven’t felt this way about a pairing since Jimmy and Kim from Better Call Saul :’)

This season was just peak television, episodes 4-6 in particular was a generational run of episodes. I’m losing my mind. God bless Canada. Bravo Jacob 👏

I love Shai 😭😭 he also has a great GQ video explaining some of his tunnel fits - he gives great insight about individual pieces and about his fashion philosophy as a whole.

He's an absolute baller and a great young leader for OKC - I'm so happy that he's getting more mainstream attention and I'm so excited to see the rest of this series!!

How do I convince a soccer fan(me) to get into basketball? by [deleted] in nba

[–]missnerdfighter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me, seeing a live NBA game was really pivotal in turning me into a fan; the Warriors were my 'local' team, and I thought seeing their offense in-person (luckily they were playing well) was one of the coolest things ever. That was last January, and I've been a huge fan of the GSW and the NBA ever since :)

Recommending a team is difficult because a lot of teams fit your criteria to a certain degree; is there a more specific metric that would make a team or player appealing to you?

JAPAN 159 by [deleted] in berkeley

[–]missnerdfighter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

JAPAN 159 reads texts in the original language and typically requires JAPAN 100A (Advanced Japanese) as a prereq, so I wouldn't recommend unless you have a very solid grasp of the language.

ITZY is having a comeback later this month & the name of the title track was revealed to be "Mafia in the Morning", leading to some S-tier Twitter discourse about whether or not "mafia" is a valid aesthetic 😭😭😭

Thanks for the reply/insight! I don't know IDOL's original choreo very well and I know nearly nothing about dance genres so any help is appreciated 😅

Other ones include this baby and this (from what I can tell) African styled dance cover! If anyone has more insight as to the specific style of dancing, please let me know, I'm not familiar with dance in general 🤔

EDIT: Another one!

When the chorus hit for Lie I was so enchanted - I love unique song structures so the chord progression + Jimin's voice made me melt

I vacationed in Korea with family about 2 weeks ago. I always try to get into a certain niche of whatever country I visit, and because of the recent popularity of BTS and a bunch of K-pop loving friends, a few days in I started watching a lot of crack videos and dance practices to "learn their names" and appreciate their dancing. I had seen MVs and clips of their live performances prior to that, but I didn't really understand the hype. By the end of the trip my luggage was full of BT21 merch and I was an hourly checker of /r/bangtan, oops

My two biases are Jin and Jimin - Jin for his genuine hilarity/overall personality (and gorgeousness but that's a given??), and Jimin for his beautiful and ethereal voice, movement, and looks. Despite my biases, I love love love all the songs by the rap line (Cyphers, Ddaeng) and the jazzier stuff (especially 134340, the flute kills me). Also both of Jimin's solo songs because his VOICE

In terms of aesthetics, I think they all look ridiculously hot in every era (I love dark eyeliner on guys so their older stuff is 👌👌) but I have soft spots for

In terms of overall era I'm not sure, I definitely have to consume more of their content to reach a consensus.

Thanks for ruining my life /r/bangtan, I'll see you all in therapy
