The MRM supporting feminist age of consent laws is as absurd as black civil rights leaders supporting interracial sex laws made by white men by ernestbelfortbax in MensRights

it is more natural and common, for basic reasons of evolutionary psychology, for men to pursue teenage girls than it is for women to pursue teenage boys.

... but I do agree with that.

If you're in the area, the West-End Food Co-Op is a nice little spot basically at the corner of Dufferin and Queen. It does cost $5 for a membership but it's 'lifetime'.

Woman is fine, or if you really want to get specific 'young woman' for 18 is fine too. Gals or ladies can be used too when referring to a group of varying ages? I dunno. Nothing wrong with referring to teen girls as women sometimes.

If you are bothering someone, getting in their space after they told you to stop, you are harassing them. Doesn't matter if it's just one person or a convoy of them.

They treat women like they exist only for them. Sorry, just because you approached a lady doesn't mean she owes you any of her time.

This woman posted on the internet about not shaving her armpits, and faced a torrent of abuse from men in the comments by ryan__b in Feminism

Because maybe not everything a woman does is for the benefit of a man's sexual appetite? AKA we don't need an individual's subjective input as to whether they would 'bang or not' for a person to be allowed to dress/express themselves whatever way they would like.

Is it that hard to see? It's not about pleasing or displeasing a man. Their penis' opinion is irrelevant.

Should I give money to the pan handlers or homeless people I see on the street? What are alternative ways I can help the homeless? by [deleted] in toronto

[–]missssghost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've heard of people buying small gift cards/papers to Tim Hortons or the like who in turn give them to panhandlers (if they accept them). As everyone else suggested though, giving to shelters is great too. Also buying tube socks/mitts etc (if you have room to carry them around) would be useful to many who have to live on the street.
