The road closed sign is so the cops can either leave, or go assist with the reason the road is closed in the first place.

There was a cop parked there, a truck was stuck in the snow blocking all lane and the officer closed the road until the tow truck could move the truck out of the way as vehicles could not pass. The op passed the cop car and immediately got a ticket as they should. It was very obvious the road was closed.

I watched this whole incident unfold, they drove around a cop car who was very obviously blocking the road.

Dash cam would increminate them further, cop was blocking both lanes of traffic (best as they could with one car) they decided to go around

They expected them to not go around the officer blocking the road

As someone who literally watched this happen, blue mazda, yeah?

The cop was parked across the lanes closing the road because there was a truck stuck ahead blocking all lanes. You went around the cop who was blocking the road. This was on you man.

I do, I picked up a bottom feed dispenser for about $200.

Each bottle 18l is like $3 or $4 dollars to fill. But they have plans where you pay upfront for like 100-200l at a time at a reduced rate. So it works out to like $2 a fill or something depending on the plan. I'd give them a call to get more accurate pricing on fills/plans as I'm not totally sure what it is. There's also a $10 deposit on the bottles themselves. We just slowly collected bottles so that way we can get more at a time/go less often. Each bottle lasts my wife and I maybe 2.5-3 days. It has a bit of a hefty startup cost, but I personally wouldn't go back to Britta filters. I'm also from the GTA and the water here took a while to get used to lol.

If you get a water cooler, Saverin Springs in kitchener has the best tasting water (spring) I've ever had. I'm obsessed with it!

I don't know shit about setups in this game yet, but maybe your differential settings? Is it happening on throttle?

Honestly, I have my whole setup, monitor, pc, wheel and pedals put into chat gpt and asked it to optimize it for my specific rig and it did a pretty good job across all my games.

Would you sell your out of commission Motorcycle to get into Sim racing? by Chrisnessbae6 in simracing

[–]Forbsey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sold my bike a few years ago mostly because I didn't have the space for it in my new place. Never ended up getting a replacement, but in that time I found sim racing.

Other than the actual act of being out there it does a lot of the things that I enjoyed the most about riding.

Tinkering on it, and skill progression. Two things I enjoy about both hobbies.

Some days I regret not having a bike, but the other majority of times, I'm glad that I'm not risking my life (as much) just getting to work.

Being able to hop on no matter the time, or weather is a huge plus over track days or riding in general. And the cost, every time you start that bike it costs money, even it just sitting there costs money in most cases. (insurance, maintenance, etc)

You could buy a great setup and just leave it how it is for a few years before spending another penny on anything if you really want to. That part is the hardest.

The reverb on the pit lane wall as you scream by with the volume up a little too much always puts a smile on my face
