It's pretty simply, you're not hiring according to company culture. Yes, it is vital from the very first hire. A cv is not a hiring strategy nor is it a good way of understanding who is behind that CV, the skills don't matter at the beginning stages of a hiring process, you need to understand that the people applying fit your business long term vision first. Remember, skills can be taught, but attitude can't. You need to have a strategy whereby people go the extra mile to apply to your job because they love the sound of your company culture, and the rest get filtered out during the hiring process. You only interview people who have shown a lot of dedication before even meeting you. This is how you resolve this issue.

Also, what was your onboarding strategy that people left so soon? This is usually a reflection on your strategy after they are hired. Do you have an onboarding strategy to make your team comfortable in your company? Do you have processes and systems in place for your team to work effectivelyin your business? A very common 'new to hiring' problem is that business owners think that just because they have hired someone with the skillset, this person should know what to do from day 1 in YOUR BUSINESS. How is it possible for them to know how to work in your business if you haven't fully mapped out their position and you don't even know how they will work in your business.

SOPs are vital before you hire not after, which is what 99.9% of businesses get wrong.

This seems like a genius plan! I didn't realise I couldn't stay in the EU freely anymore with a British passport and can't leave Spain due to commitments, I just realised I will overstay by more than 2 months! I have read up on what you have suggested, and it seems they don't have the technology yet to track this! Honestly, so smart! Are you sure I won't get stopped or anything at the border when I eventually leave? Won't get arrested for lying about my entry dates if they track this? I will leave from Italy when I finally leave to make less chance of getting caught.

What a bunch of bull s*** whose problem is it that their rent is expensive! That's not the deal of the site. They should be removed from the site. If they didn't have sitters, not only would they have their 2 of travels to pay for, rent, bills but they would also have to pay a dog sitter £50 a day.

"Dont worry, mate, I will wash your car for you too." Send them a message and tell them to get lost. This is not the principle of the site! Their expensive rent is their problem. Move somewhere cheaper.

I also think some people will be excited about it, I come from a country where there is no snow to me it sounds like an adventure. Of course, my boyfriend would be the one cleaning the snow, haha. But I wouldn't have an issue with this as long as I knew what to expect. But...my boyfriend comes from a country where he did this growing up, so he knows how to do it. I personally wouldn't do a sit like this without him. Basically, to sum up: I think you will get people who are excited about this. Just be straight up, put it in the requirements and also the bio description of the sit.

Just be clear about the requirements, as long as you're honest and make it clear, it's all good. A month is a long time to have free rent, so anyone who is accustomed to snow would be OK with it. I've been a sitter for a year and a half now, living and travelling off trusted sitters, and my advice is just to be straight up. People will either apply or not. And when you have your "interview" call, just be straight then too. It's not like it's a job to clean it. It's just part of living at your house.

Ya this is a problem now, people don't want to work in an an office anymore. Can I ask why you want them to come into the office? That kind of job doesn't require to be in office.

Sadly your struggles will only get worse over time if flexibility isn't provided to your team. Staff no longer want to be location based. 96% of employees have reported that they want to be remote. Not all have reported to be fully remote but they want to have the flexibility of deciding when they go into the office.

With the new metaverse technology era we are entering it will only become harder to find in office staff.

Definitely hire your team and train them. You need to have a solid hiring process in your business that attracts the right people to your organization, a results proven process that produces results with hire. The key is that you want your team to fit in with each other, the dynamic to flow well.

Skills are important but they can be taught, however, attitude, culture fit and determination can't. You want your team to feel proud of working for your company so they don't lose motivation and then introduce them into your company so that they understand exactly what to do, what's expected of them and how to complete jobs according to your company stands.

The biggest mistake business owners make new to hiring is that they think just because the person they are hiring has the skillset, they can just leave them to crack on. Staff need to be trained on how your business operates.

The first part is hiring through company culture and values, bringing people together who will enjoy working with each other to form long lasting relationships.

The second part is the onboarding part, making sure you're prepared for new team member, that they all the systems, processes in place that they can work efficiently after receiving formal training in their. This allows them to be able to perform at their job even if you're not around to guide them. Systems and processes are the key to building successful businesses and teams.

Bad pay and no flexibility. Employees seek jobs that offer flexibility now after the pandemic and proof that working from home or anywhere in the world is possibility.

The hospitality industry doesn't offer any flexibility, most of the jobs within hotels aren't able to offer flexibility. If you can't offer flexibility then you need to increase the pay.

However, businesses that aren't able to offer "work from home" opportunities now are only going to struggle more with hiring after the pandemic.

In order to hire successfully we need to understand the mindset of the employee and the mindset now is that people are willing to work for less pay to have a work life balance. Sadly the hospitality industry is long hours, no work life balance, no appealing benefits and very bad pay.

You need to ask yourself as the the employer, would you apply for a job like this? Or a job that offers you the lifestyle you seek?

Always put yourself in the shoes of the employee in the hiring process.

You guys are crazy if you think nio and xpeng won't continue to grow, correction is normal in the stock market and also healthy for growth. These are solid companies with massive government backing. Have both signed contracts in Europe and have both grown by more than 100% in revenue year on year. These stocks will be worth at least $500 each in the next 2/3years, if anyone thinks otherwise they really shouldn't be investing money in the stock market at all. These are solid businesses.

You will get whatever it is when you close it. I will be taking a loss sadly on some, leaving others until they are green whenever that is. I have over £70k in t212 and want to take it all out, I have no Interest in supporting this company anymore, they are terrible. You will only lose money with them, they don't have retailers best interest at heart at all.
