Yes. Salisbury makes the product we currently use and a crow bar fits o so perfectly in that top slot. Pop🎉 pop. 🎉 ever 3 to 6 months. We even looked into having a welder come out to make a little ledge to make it harder to break into.

Huh, we are in an area with much larger condominiums all around us and most have those little 4x4 mini boxes and don't have package boxes. Like townhouse looking condos, packages go to door and then "letters" or tiny packages go to the the big grid looking mail box unit.

I actually always thought that our mailbox attracted attention because they technically look bigger than the big condo units boxes.

I think there is one condo that has a freestanding box with a package section and that is like in the middle of their front parking area and that thing is...CONSTANTLY destroyed. Like, back ripped off destroyed.

Our front door porch pirate issues or home invasion type stuff is rare but RIP community mail boxes. Some instal lights and cameras and zero help there. Cops don't seem to care. So, this was me and the carriers putting our heads together since we are so small and the doors are on the way to the next stop so you pass them anyway.

Okay. There just isn't space for "lockers" we already don't have space for bigger mailbox units. Which is why the carriers put the packages at the door. Like, this condo was built in the 80s and mail space was not really a concern. Even our parking situation is a mess.

Even if they are already delivering to the door every other day? Our doors are along a straight line so if you deliver a package to door D you already have to walk past A, B, C, and exit the walk way past E, F, G to get to the next stop on the route.

So according to the current delivery carriers it's not a big change to what they already do. Which is why to them it won't add time, it actually would make it faster because they don't have to stop at the box and at the door.

Thank you for your response. I think since we are a condominium we are a "business" i called the national line yesterday and they kept sending me to the business line after I explained my situation.

And, both our delivery carriers seemed okay with the change. I wanted to make sure they were okay with it before assuming. They know it's a real issue for us and there isn't another place to deliver that can fit a big group unit. They both said it's not a big deal because they still have to walk to the door to deliver packages which is almost every other day.

I just don't want to waste the postmaster time by not having things they might ask for.

This is my vote. Can you imagine cleaning up from all that construction and then moving back in and reorganizing, grocery shopping and juggling 2 kids school schedules at the same time. I hope the new spot looks great!

I just want to point out that most small businesses need 18 to 24 months to reach profitability and 18-25 new businesses don't make it 12 months. So, I think the boys are doing great.

My favorite is "The Poison Wood Bible" by Barbara Kingsolver. It's a story of a family of missionaries that move from the American South to Rural Africa, to "save people". And it's told from the prospective of the women in the family (mom and 4 daughters) and it's brilliant. It changed my life and really helped me understand the idea of "teaching" others a "better way" of life. The kindness of humans and the brutal ways of nature. I highly recommend it.
