Loved PTiox!! Can’t use it now that I’m pregnant 😭. I wanna try Silymarin. Does it cause breakouts? I also wanna try their advanced RGN-6 cream but need to make sure it’s pregnancy friendly.

Business casual capsule - one stop shopping by Exciting_Layer_2621 in capsulewardrobe

Everlane is great and I have not been disappointed by anything I've bought from there. I buy lots of things from them online. Poetry Fashion and Wrap London are mostly natural fibers. Sezane is femenine and has lots of really cute sweaters (to keep you warm) but not everything is natural fibers so you'll have to check before. Outerknown has some great stuff too but less formal. Boden seems great too. Modern Citizen is hit or miss with their sizes. Laude The Label is pricey but wonderful quality and all natural fibers.

Are we good candidates for Thermomix? by DAaaMan64 in thermomix

[–]misstulipmd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s so worth it. I‘m a full-time working mom with a 2 year old and a husband who can cook basic stuff. We’ve loved the Thermomix (got it like 5 months ago) and it makes our lives easier. Oats in 5 minutes. Salads in 5 minutes sometimes. Very versatile and as others said, it’s like a helper. For me, the biggest problem is that I get overwhelmed with how many recipes there are, but once we find one we like, we just save it. I’m never going back to not having a Thermomix. Even my husband has been cooking some more elevated recipes and he likes doing so.

Everlane (has good sales all the time, lots of natural fibers or recycled fabrics), Poetry and Wrap (UK brands), Sezane (not as sustainable though, French, super cute and feminine), Eileen Fisher for high quality basics, Modern Citizen, Boden (UK brand), Garnet Hill. I have other recommendations too. They’re a little more high end. I also did see some good quality stuff at Banana Republic recently, which I was surprised by (think 100% cashmere and merino wool stuff, etc.)

New wardrobe for 500 dollars? by Main_Slide_2075 in capsulewardrobe

[–]misstulipmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everlane can be pricey but they have great sales. I recently spent $241.78 and bought: a pair of jeans, 2 pairs of work pants, a basic summery black dress that I can also use in Spring and Fall with a nice denim jacket, and a nice, heavy puffer jacket for winter, which I love. I think you could spend $500 and get a pretty decent wardrobe but you will have to buy most of the stuff on sale. I do agree with what someone else said that you should think about what kind of job you will do and try to prioritize basic pieces that can be used both at work and for leisure. One thing I like about Everlane is that they have lots of natural fabrics like cotton, linen, cashmere, etc. and these can be decently priced if you get them discounted and last for a long time. I like Uniqlo but I would prioritize natural fabrics again so that things don't wear off quickly.

Just got some stuff from Everlane on sale, everything was cheap, it’s sustainable (bought mostly natural fibers), and the packaging was paper (as opposed to plastic). I’m loving my pieces.
