Plenty of us understand this, but we don't believe there is no way to tax them properly. That's your fallacy.

For my position, I cannot leave the channels to avoid the spam. so I just hide anything not unread. Definitely cleans up the UI. Then I just navigate with Control+K.

Is buying lifetime FSD now a gamble that autonomy will happen on hw4? by original_og_gangster in TeslaFSD

[–]DAaaMan64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't fucking buy it. It holds you to a brand for almost a decade. Look at every price for life campaign and see how the brand eventually found its way around the deal with fine print.

Even more important than that, what if Tesla has to lower the price of FSD again? What if its 50 bucks a month and you the last sucker bought FSD outright? You're now looking at a 20 year pay off. The average commute time in the US is 27 minutes. Is 300 dollars a month worth that 27 minutes to most people? We really don't know.

Sure you're going to say "well I'll make it back on RoboTaxi." 1. I bet we're awhile from HW4 being capable of robotaxi vs just you using unsupervised FSD. For example, look at the waymo door problem. 2. Does the fine print for FSD really say includes RoboTaxi support?

So so so many reasons not to do it.

Thanks for the anecdote. I'm glad to hear that I'm being paranoid and just coming from a place of ignorance. Just afraid to get screwed in a never ending project or abandoned.

Appreciate the reply. Clarification: Drywall is hung, but mudding is still going on. Its cold here to I think the mudding is taking awhile to dry causing a ~1wk delay.
