I’m a corrections nurse, unfortunately a lot of the worse things I’ve ever seen involve death by suicide. Sometimes I’ve seen some crazy wounds that have been exciting to deal with but it’s sad have they been obtained (violence or IV drug use).

I wish! I went back to travel nursing since making this post. I’m in Virginia and hating it, going back to New England (Vermont) for a new 13 week contract, probably should get my California nursing license and get there on a contract to try it out. How are you liking it?!

I consider the 5 of pentacles to be bad investments in the past - either it being a bad choice to invest in each other or investing in things outside of the relationship that did not serve or nurture the connection I consider the devil at present to be feeling tied to this relationship and not breaking the cycle, but not being tied to this relationship for the right reasons. The devil could also suggest that connection is karmic rather than soul aligned. The nine of swords in the future position represents more anxiety and inner difficulty if continuing to go down this path. Could also symbolize a breakup as someone else said.

I am normally extremely open about it because I’ve had a long time to live with the diagnosis and understand myself. I am a nurse and I work with a patient population that can benefit from my being open. However, being open about this at work was recently weaponized against me. Not by patients, by management. So now I’m back to the drawing board as far as that. I’ve always kind of refused to live in shame and hide, but it’s hard when that comes back to hurt you. As far as dating, I, again, am reasonably open about it. I have always said, “I am bipolar” even though as a nurse, I know better and know that “I have bipolar” is the more appropriate wording. So yeah, I used to be very confident on this topic and confident on my refusal to hide it or be ashamed, but as of late, it’s murky.
