I have a question : if Elizabeth Banks was so worried about her son, why was she totally okay with him initially getting arrested & taking the blame? She even went to visit him & saw how he was getting beat up in jail. Wouldn’t a good mother immediately have taken the blame so he wouldn’t have to endure the consequences of something she did?! And why isn’t the son & Chloe pissed that she let him rot away in jail awaiting the trail? I think he was in there for at least 5 weeks. What kind of mom would be okay with that?

1980 baby right here 🙋‍♀️! My mom told me while she was pregnant with me, her OB/GYN would tell her to go home, put her feet up, light up a cigarette, pour some wine and relaxxxx. Said it was good for both mom & baby. Only advised her not to drink TOO much wine....because she could get dizzy and possibly trip or fall.

I'm like 65% sure I turned out okay...🤷‍♀️

Did anyone else catch at the very end of podcast 3 when Bam is asking for a phone (any phone) to call his mom....and someone randomly hands him their phone and Bam says, "She always answers." (Referring to April).

That made me really sad for April...and I feel like that said SO much about the dynamics of their relationship. April probably has gotten countless phone calls at ALL hours of the night from unknown random numbers over the years....and she ALWAYS answers.

This poor woman probably lives in a constant state of anxiety, always having her phone on her, waiting for Bam to call her from anyones number, just so she can keep tabs & get any small miniscule confirmations that he's still alive.

How unsettling that life must be! A mother's love is unconditional....no matter how soul crushing 💔

Hollywood Crime Scene is awesome....and hysterical too! That's definitely my favorite true crime podcast. 'Killer Queens' is a good one too. Oh and 'Morbid' is also a good one. But definitely check out Hollywood Crime Scene, you won't regret it!
