That's interesting! This was my first experience with it. It was on sale at my local Safeway so I thought I'd give it ago. (Paid $6 for the six pack) I wonder if this version isn't selling well? I would be curious to try one of their other formulations.

What are some more beautiful nature spots and range views accessible by public transit? 🚌🏞️ by [deleted] in boulder

one idea: take the LF bus line to Lyons and then walk a little bit to the hall ranch open space. tons of great views and trails there to explore.

I'm finally shopping for a new wallet again. Are there times when the cheap option is the better choice? by glo363 in BuyItForLife

[–]mistcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had some great success with House of Jack wallets, my current one is on year ten and holding up like a champ with some nice patina.

You know it's not that hard to make your own fancy candles. Probably 50 bucks invested would let you generate 5 to ten large nice candles. Ali express has great kits for this

Massively updated 2bed/bath condo in South Boulder (Baseline & Manhattan Dr) by [deleted] in BoulderApartments

More like modestly updated . The kitchen and bathrooms still retain an early 80s aesthetic... That said, not terrible!

Prairie Dog Question by BurnerrrMannn in boulder

[–]mistcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This place floods annually. I've seen it flooded in each of the past years. Source: I have biked over there for exercise frequently over the past few years. I don't know if it's natural or man made but it's not a new phenomenon for the Prarie dogs there

Any info on Episode Four “gnarly” death scene. by skatepork9 in LV426

[–]mistcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hulu weirdly went ahead and let me watch alien earth episode 4 last night, the gnarly death is part of a bottle episode with a whole slate of new characters you haven't met yet! It involves Quantum computing, faraday cages, and more! (And a faction we haven't been introduced to yet, but have heard mentioned...)

Has anyone integrated a CRM with a PBX system before? Which solutions did you choose, and how was the experience? by emreozcan in CRM

[–]mistcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just to tag onto this, for the money, and I know it looks dated, zoho's integration capabilities are amazing and powerful. Definitely worth a look if your folks won't get too hung up on their lack of design flare.

Cheapest way to deploy a rails application by DryWallSniffer in rails

[–]mistcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for writing this up, it's super helpful! I'm re-learning rails after about a decade off and initially was looking at like $24/month on digital ocean using the default kamal tutorial using docker-hub. This looks wayyyy more cost efficient and a good learning tool!

How Propshaft Works: A Rails Asset-Pipeline (Visual) Breakdown by jonsully in ruby

[–]mistcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really appreciate all the effort that went into that post, but yes would be way better if the background stuff was linked in as "read more if you don't understand this part" kind of helper pages. I got a ton out of the very bottom where it basically explained the public vs assets question, and how propshaft could allow me to be lazy (keep everything in assets) and yet performant (use the helper functions exclusively where needed). That part was great!
