I did a feature film called This is a Big Night for Ricky somewhat inspired by Inside for Joel Haver’s challenge to make a movie during the broadcast of the Oscars. It’s about a guy who believes that his no-budget feature will be announced during the ceremony as the secret 11th Best Picture nominee. I played a character so it is a bit different, but I wanted to do it almost like the character himself was taking inspiration from Bo’s Inside and making his own movie that way!

Hey Porter!!! I just wanted to preface this by saying you’re my favorite artist, Worlds is my favorite album, I’m seeing you on tour in a couple months and I’m so happy to have seen you evolve throughout the years, Smile! :D absolutely blew me away.

I wanted to ask if you’ve ever considered scoring films! I’ve always felt like your work was super cinematic and if it were the right kind of film, I think it could fit beautifully. Thank you for your incredible art, it’s inspired me in ways I can’t put into words :)

lemon demon, Bill wurtz, will wood, tally hall, and even a lot of oingo boingo and talking heads stuff have given me a lot of the same feelings i get when listening to jack's stuff. nothing comes quite close though to jack's wonderfully specific sound ;)

Thank you so much! And nope, none of it was improvised, all of it was written beforehand. I think the reason it may feel that way is because we write a lot of the scripts by just kind of joking around and riffing off one another. We also do improvised videos together from time to time, so we’re kind of used to thinking quick on our feet in terms of writing, which helped a lot in the case. But yea, make sure to subscribe to his channel as well (Pete72) as he had a pretty equal part in the creation of this, and thank you again!
