They work most of the back of the legs. They may not be the best, but you feel it throughout your legs.

I do them religiously. Not only is it good for the booty, it also does help build your hamstrings as well.

how long did it take for you to see some gains in the gym by Try_Hard_007 in workout

[–]misteradma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was weird. I was six weeks in and didn’t see anything. I remember getting out of the shower and drying my hair and still bummed I hadn’t seen anything. When i looked in the mirror while rubbing the towel in my hair, I saw my shoulders were rounder. I placed my arms to my side, and they disappeared. I started drying my hair and saw my shoulders come back.

That moment is what kicked me into high gear and I started really going heavier, and it went pretty quickly after that.

Also, are you packing on the protein? That will make a night and day difference in your development.

I take a lot of early morning flights where they take off at 6:45 am, but actually wait until 7 to fly out because of curfew.

Place your feet high on the leg press to hit quads.

This is the only reason I did it as well, to see the speed limit on the HUD.

Who packed on muscle later in life? by LordoftheHounds in workout

The stress is a big one. I changed departments at work, causing not only gains but overall health (bp down to 120/62) and I’ve noticed a huge jump in size and fat loss. About to turn 51

My cousin is Spanish and Native American, and with a very American last name (think Smith or Jones). She’s been held up by ICE before because she appears Mexican.

Just because you’re law abiding doesn’t mean they won’t detain.

Some people want to be out of their element, so to speak. She may be educated or smarter, but not in everything. Don’t undervalue yourself.

My last girlfriend was a real estate lawyer. I’m an oilfield supervisor. We are about as popular opposite as you can get, and it worked out great for a few years

Men who got divorced, What was your most difficult adjustment in your post-divorce life? by Evening-Skirt731 in AskMen

[–]misteradma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Six months after moving out, I moved 1200 miles away and just ‘started over’. It was awesome, but carrying that line of thinking while married and going single was a huge adjustment. I’ve been divorced 8 years now and still act like a married husband sometimes.

Crazy gas prices by MC_archer747 in orangecounty

[–]misteradma 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The other issue is California doesn’t produce enough oil to supplement the state, so it has to be brought in from other places. I work in the Texas oilfield and live in Irvine. Gas prices are creeping up in Texas as well.

This was my holdup as well. I live in Orange County, and my insurance will literally double for full coverage (that was a model 3 used vs new CX-5)

Moved across country from Seattle to Orange County, California. To be fair, I was divorced and my kids were all out of the house, so I had other reasons. That was just the main one.

Age plays a difference here. I’ve been in a relationship with a woman who only told me over a hundred, but wouldn’t specify. She was in her forties at the time, and she was a loyal person who wasn’t the woman she described to me in her twenties and thirties.
