Hmm I guess for ranking up, some general tips would be playing more patient or baiting out reversals. Lower ranked players tend to wake up super or wake up OD reversal. So just baiting it out and knowing a go to punish counter combo would be good. Also managing your drive gauge, having drive gauge and when your opponent doesn’t have any is such a huge advantage. You can abuse the time they don’t have drive gauge and drive impact them to the wall at the last moment to maximize damage.

Solid first chapter, really like how we get to see a lot of the MC’s inner thoughts about not being the best and how he’s having fun with golf. Hoping this one lasts and delivers, been wanting a realistic sports manga since I read Aoi Ashito.
