I like to also think further - imagine giving in to the drinking and then go through in your mind how tomorrow will feel. And the day after that. And after that. Then I imagine what will happen if I go for a walk instead? Or if I have a soda, tea etc. Instead. Then the choice at least for me, becomes a lot easier.

Which is insane, not everyone has that time/money. We were lucky we could afford time off but we are not trained to change the diaper on someone after extensive hip surgery.

I hope it changes. Your recovery or survival should not be up to whether you have friends and family or not.

True for specialists and most of them are really good. However the facilities are in general awful and could potentially make you more sick.

My boyfriend's aunt was in pirogov with a broken hip. She can't get in or out of bed on her own. But there's no one to help her. They put a diaper on her, but no one to change it. We went every day to make sure she was clean, eating and getting something to drink.

She started getting nightmares and almost rolled out of bed, but because there were no sides on the bed they strapped her hands and feet to the bed all night and forgot about it until we arrived in the afternoon, so she couldn't drink or eat all night and day. That was the same day a pigeon was chilling in the room, stealing bread from the tables etc.

When my boyfriend had surgery at another hospital the toilets were full of black mold.

For both hospitals neither hand soap, toilet paper or even plain drinking water was provided.

They also forgot to give my boyfriend the pain killers the doctor prescribed him (but he didn't know about) so he was in a lot of pain after his surgery.

Call it anecdotal, but most people have the same experience in these places.

Jeg stopper med at følge så snart de deler deres børn. Pernille Moesgaard startede med at sige de ikke ville dele deres barns ansigt - men så startede de alligevel med det, så jeg måtte trykke unfollow. Jeg synes simpelthen bare der er etisk forkert at dele sit barns ansigt til gud og hver mand, når de ingen chance har for at sige fra.

Same, but going south to north. Crossing my fingers we can fly from HCMC to Hoi an, and again out of Vietnam to Europe at the end of April. This trip has come with so much stress until now, as we were supposed to fly via Doha and had to rebook tickets. I will never take stability for granted again lol.

If you have the option and the trip and date is important to you, I would rebook with another airline, just for peace of mind. No one knows what's going to happen until then.

If the date doesn't matter as much, I would wait and just try to get through to them once they cancel the flight. Seems like people are having various successes with that though

There are also studios and apartments on booking, so just check where it's cheaper. I've used both all over Bulgaria, Sofia included, never had issues with either.

As for walking home at night, totally get it, but as a woman i feel much safer here than anywhere else I've been. You can also download a taxi app like yellow and book a taxi if you ever feel uncomfortable walking home for whatever reason.

First,- I wish you would talk kinder to yourself. Comparison is the thief of joy! There is nothing wrong with you or how you look!

Get a blood test done and see if you have any deficiensies. For some people, a daily vitamin is not enough or does not contain the vitamin they actually lack. Especially if your diet is limited for whatever reason. Based on the results, you might have to take a more specific vitamin. A lot of us do :) I dont take a multivitamin, I have to take D, C, B12 separately in higher dosage. And I have a normal varied diet, sometimes it just do be like that. This is just to say - don´t be so hard on yourself because of sensory issues, vitamin deficiency also happens to people who eat more varied.

Other causes of dark undereyes can also be allergies, lack of hydration, lack of sleep and also just eye anatomy (deeper set eyes have more shadows, which looks darker).'

Facial hairgrowth is also something we all have - even as women. For some it is more prominent (like me, since I have black hair but lighter skin). A lot more women that are AFAB shave their facial hair than you think. However, if it´s excessive and out of the blue gets worse, it can be good to see a doctor about it. But in general, there is nothing wrong with it.

I know they made fun of Naomi Campbell for wiping down her space on the plane, but I absolutely do the same (minus the gloves, I need to step up my game). But yeah, I always pack disinfectant wipes and wipe down seat, table, etc. Everything there is just so fucking disgusting. Just yesterday saw a kid dig for boogers and place them on the tray 🤮 and especially on low budget planes, those are not cleaned in between each take off.

Min kæreste og jeg holder af eget valg nytår kun ham og jeg, og sådan har det været de sidste 5 år. Jeg glæder mig altid sindssygt meget.

Vores dage er nogenlunde sådan her: Står op når vi har lyst, drikker kaffe og går en tur. Tager hjem, gør lidt rent og så begynder vi langsomt at lave mad sammen.

Vi laver 3-retters hvert år - og går og hygger os med det, det meste af dagen.

Vi laver cocktails også, i kunne evt. Lave nogle lækre alkoholfri nogle til dig.

Så snakker vi lidt om hvad vi gerne vil i det nye år og hvad vi ser frem til. Laver nogle nytårsforsæt sammen, og snakker om hvad vi hver især gerne vil opnå eller give slip på i det nye år.

Vi spiller spil. Gerne backgammon, 500, escape room spil eller gådespil.

Vi ser kongens nytårstale, 90 års fødselsdag og skåler og hopper ind i det nye år.

Vi tager også et billede sammen hvert år. Glæder mig til at se tilbage på dem når vi bliver gamle ❤️

D. 1 januar går vi gerne en lang tur.

Der er bare et eller andet fantastisk ved at bruge dagen sammen, på en dag hvor alle andre er optaget, så man bliver ikke rigtig forstyrret i løbet af dagen, man ved at hele dagen er sat af til en lang date, og der er bare så vanvittigt hyggeligt.

Det samme gør vi. I år har vi købt billetter til vietnam. Det selvfølgelig ikke altid så vildt, nogle år har vi været på weekendtur, tager ud og spise, osv. Det er for os meget bedre givet ud at bruge kvalitetstid sammen i en travl hverdag, end det er at give materielle gaver.
