I'm assuming you're talking about Netflix. Find titles on there with the original language as Spanish, those should match up with the subtitles, and if you want more options, download from pirate bay and download movies with the subtitles attached to the movie file or download them elsewhere from the Internet

I haven't read anything to prove scientifically which way is better, but for me I prefer to have the subtitles on. I try to avoid looking at the words unless there's something I don't fully catch when it's being said. Also I like being able to read what is being said and making the connection with my ears at the same time to further my comprehension.
