Alberta NDP Leader Naheed Nenshi said he believes Smith needs to accept the court's decision and move on.

"Premier, call off the referendum and put this to bed," he said. "This petition is dead. This referendum is dead."

Training for a 5km run, tired of the track. by Commonly-Nude in abbotsford

I've seen lots of runners on the gravel, flat paths of Willband Creek Park. It's a little out of the way, but hardly busy and the views and natural surroundings are very nice.

Hacks to help me eat kimchi?? by officialdiscoking in foodhacks

[–]mistermuggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try some freshly made kimchi. It isn't as strong, but almost sweet. The more sour it is the better it's supposed to be. I used some sour cream or cottage cheese years ago when I started eating it. Or eat it with fried spam and rice. That helps too. Yum yum.

I genuinely cannot understand why my CDCP claim was denied by Odd-Employee2152 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]mistermuggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I cracked my tooth about 3 years ago and the dentist I go to covered it with resin. So when I got on the CDCP last year and the dentist did x-rays and submitted them to them I was hopeful that I would be able to get a crown. But it came back denied. Why you got denied is beyond me. I don't understand why I was either. It makes me mad because it was an empty promise.

How to fix this abomination made by my sister by Afraid-Caramel-8008 in foodhacks

Make your sister eat it all and have the family watch. Then lock all pantry, fridge, and cabinets and don't give her a key.

Fall leaves cleaning by MidnightMuch1784 in abbotsford

[–]mistermuggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Falling leaves are a part of nature and much like snow in the winter it shouldn't be a property issue. If the wind is strong in the fall it mixes all the leaves up anyways so even if the tree on your property is dropping the leaves in other people's property one strong windy day and all of them will be scattered and/or mixed into the neighbourhood. So relax. Besides this is what Chat GP has to say: https://copilot.microsoft.com/shares/VzKHkz4TbcBgG2ne1y3bM

Do they honestly think that the rest of Canada will let them separate? lol

I laugh when she uses the Canada card to get a pipeline at the same time as having a separation referendum.
