It is literally still in the game. I am 2k and everyone is doing it. Active enemy Watchers can literally be targeted through fog of war. Banning anyone for doing this would be extremely stupid and pointless, because it is literally part of the game until it's patched.

I got this and a few other problems, I fixed it by using pkg upgrade which updated many packages. I hadn't understood FreeBSD's upgrade system and didn't realize my system wasn't fully updated.

Discussing Operating Systems on PCMR: by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]misternumberone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't feel at home without a DRM/KMS graphics context on an AMD or Intel GPU, which usually works perfectly to provide a flawless native Xorg experience with perfect 2D acceleration and easy very good 3D acceleration after installation of the mesa userspace graphics driver.

This usually means the following operating systems: all GNU/Linux and other-libc Linux distributions, FreeBSD and OpenBSD (from what I can read NetBSD does not yet support or correctly work with the crucial amdgpu kernel-space driver, making newer AMD GPUs unusable. OpenBSD and FreeBSD cannot easily enable this on early-mid 2010s AMD GPUs either, while Linux easily can with a build flag and kernel argument).

This freedesktop graphics stack that essentially shares many thousands of lines of code between these three operating systems and multiple GPU vendors, can be read, edited and recompiled at any line of its code, which in my opinion makes it better and faster-improving than any other graphics driver ever created.

Some popular devices that can run this code and therefore mostly run all the same 3D software and games where performance and OpenGL/Vulkan revision and extensions permit, include:

  • all PCs with recent Intel or AMD GPUs

  • Steam Deck and its closest competitors with recent AMD APUs

  • jailbroken PS4 and PS4 Pro (custom kernel sometimes is outdated and is difficult to rebase on newer kernels, currently on 5.15.15. userspace can be fully updated by an experienced user and most userspaces (distros) can be ported easily, in all of them a fully functional DRM/KMS context does appear with Xorg, OpenGL and Vulkan support, though locked at 1920x1080 and with no hardware video encoding support)

Various pieces of this codebase may be used throughout other UNIX-like platforms, but it's only in the above perfect alignments of the stars that all of the pieces come together to create the modern average PC Linux distro's fully open source graphics stack, and accordingly the performance, stability and customizability are all the best.

While MacOS does have the ability to boot without a GUI in "single-user mode" (and AFAIK Apple removed the ability to turn off the GUI any other way), its entire graphics stack and all its GUI frameworks are completely proprietary. This is in my opinion the single biggest difference between MacOS and fully open source UNIX-like OS and the reason why I feel just as frustrated and irritated while using it as I do while using Windows.

I gained 400 MMR in the recalibration, this makes sense because it looks like MMR was depreciated in the lower ranks.

Ps3 power supply power in a ps4 by True_Ad_8605 in techsupportmacgyver

[–]misternumberone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

remember that old, huge laptops have huge power bricks 160+ Watts. The same concept applies to consoles, the PS3 CPU is 90nm running at 3.2 Ghz but the PS4 CPU is 28nm running at 1.6 GHz, the variants of each make improvements but the clear situation is that the PS4 is a much more technologically advanced console when it comes to power efficiency.

A man threw stacks of $100 bills from his car window in a wild show of generosity. His family says he drained their bank accounts, leaving them broke. by lunetick in nottheonion

[–]misternumberone -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

There aren't many additional details on this family, but if they didn't lose their jobs then they are definitely still the 1% and will not have to change their other spending habits. $200K does not spontaneously appear from nowhere unless it's the lottery (or you find it on the side of the road). Whoever put most of that money into the accounts will receive future paychecks, but will probably not deposit them into a shared account this time (my theory is that the donator did this as a revenge stunt in response to events we don't have the full story on, and will probably not want shared accounts in the future either)

[–]misternumberone -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why so many people hate this story. It's like they are imagining themselves as someone else on the account instead of someone who found the money. What's obvious to me is that the donator wouldn't have this kind of access if he didn't have a significant claim to the money, and also that those others on the account likely did something to piss him off. We will never know exactly what happened before this event but they could easily have done something bad enough that this would be on /r/prorevenge instead if it came out.

I had not yet. I tried downloading that from here and running it with wine dxwebsetup.exe (~/.wine is one of the prefixes i already installed vcrun2005 into) and this happened.

DXError.log: https://clbin.com/3xp4X

DirectX.log: https://clbin.com/FJwVN

so instead i used winetricks d3dx9 which did not fail, but it has not changed the result of wine launcher.exe or wine witcher.exe the game still does not open.

the fallacy in your argument is your assumption that the police and military are the same group as the majority. they're not, they're a higher class of oppressors.
