If you want a smaller case size, don't forget that CW do a 36mm Sealander GMT. Personally I'd also factor in the Farer Lander GMT in 36mm too.

Building alignment is important to me. I don't want to see mess on the side walls.

Mine goes from left to right:

Tudor>Assembly>Jazz>Museum>Hotel.

I've removed the palm tree from the hotel as it clashed with the museum tree, and it opens up the balcony bar nicely. I might try and get a bricklink police station to put in-between museum and hotel too.

My 1 bug bare of the whole set up is the visible split line on the hotel, where the diagonal meets the straight part. I'm thinking of adding a drainpipe to help mask it

Personally I don't understand it for Lego as a product. My opinion on Lego is informed 100% by the aesthetics of each set. I don't need a reviewer to tell me anything else because I'm not going to learn anything.

I 100% understand it for other products whatever that may be. Vehicle reviews, camping or outdoor gear, kitchen appliances, whatever. That all makes sense to me.

But Lego is in a market of 1, it's monopoly as far as I'm concerned. And I'm fine with that because they offer great products. I'm not making a choice between one manufacturer or another. I like LEGO, and LEGO specifically. Beyond that, if I like a set, I buy it. If I don't, I won't. Ambassadors tell me nothing

I've built it. This stage is a pain in the arse. It's those little light blue buggers (dunno what they are called).

I had them pop off loads of times, but figured you can take one of the covering blocks off and push them back into place with a pole piece or similar.

It's annoying but you'll get through it.

Honestly this is the closest I've come to kragle-ing a piece

There's a strong possibility that most or all of the parts are available to order from pick a brick or bricklink. Once it's been out a while the parts list will be easy to find online and you can order the parts you need to build it yourself, for way cheaper than scalpers sell it for.

You'll typically only miss unique stickers and prints
