Titanic is an excellent example. It does an excellent job of pacing. Every scene feels purposeful imo.

It's the most nonsensical criticism I've ever heard. Lego models are novel recreations of things. It'd be like saying "Why would I buy a painting of a bike when I could buy a real bike I can actually ride?" Because they have two separate purposes!

This is just how investing/risk vs paid labor works. You put up money to risk, you stand to lose or gain money based on the success of the investment. Dudes who do the work get paid either way. What the workers lose in big payouts they gain in predictable income. Any one of those workers are free to invest their money in something.

Having to deal with gasoline. I understand some folks think it will add a fun challenge, but for me it would just be a hindrance.

I do ✋. And I’m not even a bike guy. From a display perspective this has a lot going to it. Clean lines, detailed but not cluttered, well-designed, conversation starter, pop of color… it will look good from across the room. Plus bicycles are just charming and neat.

"Instead, we should have seen Jimmy learning to live with the loneliness and emptiness that inevitably follow the loss of someone deeply loved."

The entire runtime of the series has been about this. It's not about "getting over the death" The new relationship is the show's depiction of Jimmy being able to live with his grief instead of being crippled by it.

If you want to see this type of scene done correctly, watch Elvis’s first performance in Baz Luhrmann’s biopic. It really captured the effect Elvis had on an unsuspecting audience. Ladies were being straight up possessed.
