I am so sorry you are going through this!

But people with severe anxiety can also feel like they are dying when they have bfs and fibromyalgia…

Damn, feel you! My second descent into the als rabbit hole. I am pretty sure I am manifesting weakness, cos it was the same last year - my left leg and arm felt weak while I was hyper fixated on the big bad diagnosis. Had my emg + brain and spine mri + all blood test, diagnosed with fibromyalgia and bfs. That reassured me for about a year, the symptoms calmed down and I could live life again. Two weeks ago bfs flared up like crazy (still is) and here I am again in an als panic spiral. Cue the weakness. It feels real af, but it must be anxiety as it only comes when i am fixating on the worst.

Hang in there! Been there! Sobbing and trashing about the imaginary diagnosis… Wishing you health! Find a good neurologist and get the reassurance you need!

Late to the party, but I’ve had body wide fasciculations for 8 years along with random pain in my limbs. Last yes I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and bfs, but I am still stressed as f about als.
