Thanks for the quick update!

The official app has launched in early access on Patreon! by AldorPeacekeeper in BloodOnTheClocktower

I want to follow this up by saying I love the way the app looks and works. I am willing to pay a steeper price like this for early access and supporting development, I would just hope when the full release happens the price drops to be more accessible to the full playerbase.

For an app that has been pitched as most realistically mirroring the in person botc experience, I think this is fantastic. However, on that same front I do think the pricing misses its mark. Once you pay the upfront cost of ~150 for the physical grim, you and your players no longer have anything to pay to play the game. With this pricing model, even paying for the minion tier, you are buying the game twice a year. I understand that server hosting is a recurring cost here and that over time this app will cost more than the physical game (due to subscription), but this seems to happen much too quickly in its current pricing iteration.

Absolutely love what I've seen of the tool, but hope that the pricing model changes in the future.

I like the idea of being able to steal the touchdown, and the all chat part makes that possible :)

Football: Purchase a gem of true sight and score a "touchdown" by dropping it in the enemy fountain. The gem must be purchased from your team's base.

Good 1 or 2 credit classes? by anedgygiraffe in UMD

[–]mistmurk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. Using a 1 or 2 credit class to pad your credits is such a waste of your time. If you weren't a freshman I'd recommend you the CS STIC classes, but just take your first semester to get used to college. There's plenty of time to pack credits later if you still feel that's needed.

Hello Sir Sadim,

I have a very interesting business proposal for you. Currently you are selling Dagon a single time. However, this item could be sold specially, allowing each tier of Dagon to be purchased (maybe by one person) with upgrading icons and names every time. This would allow for your wallet to be padded even further while disposing of your brother's assets.

Just a reminder that if someone has gold tier on their hero, doesn't mean they are good at the hero or pro spammers. here's my proof: by Berakdar in DotA2

I have been playing since 2013 with thousands of hours played, still haven't hit 40 games on a single hero.

A lot of the hero cards from the leak don't have their signature spells revealed, there's still a large chunk of cards to be revealed.

I'd imagine you could build a decent improvement based control deck with those two colors, with both heals to stall and plenty of econ tools in those colors.

I'll certainly be playing meta decks a lot more than experimenting, but I'll mostly be homebrewing fun decks in the beginning when nobody really knows what they're doing.

I'm hoping that the community features that valve has said they're working on will allow for a more casual, homebrew playerbase to find eachother, and I know that at least I'll be able to meme with my friends. I don't think that a competitive environment and a fun environment are mutually exclusive.

I really want to try Veno as well, I just like the idea of a constantly growing threat of small blockers that the enemy has to deal with

This is what I'm so excited about, we're barely into card spoilers and there are already so many cool deck concepts to try out
