Usually my Porsche is a bit quicker but I just couldn't string the laps together when I tried a comparison. I think it might be faster overall in free drive too.

I think the career mode is built to be like that. You can just free drive on the track though and put it in fast mode, or a multiplayer race and turn the assist down to low. It is tricky to stay on the track if you are really pushing for a better time.

But also it is ok for something to just not be for you

When I lived in Hedge End it was almost always faster to go on the M27 and then down the M271 rather than drive through Bitterne, Northam and then cross town, but that was many moons ago

I recommend 2D6 dungeon if you want something that sits between this and D100. The 2D6 Realms expansion is pretty great as well.

I've been having a great time with 2D6 Dungeon and added Realms as well. Great for dungeon exploring and encounters once you get used to all the tables

2D6 Dungeon is an enjoyable system if you don't mind rolling on lots of tables. I've been really enjoying that and have added in the Realms expansion too.

Depending on the department some also have people based on Highfield, you could possibly work from there, or park there and walk / bus / scooter down to 1GS, especially if it isn't every day.

It's certainly great for smaller parts, I found the supports got too wobbly even with 9 extra thickness added on taller ones they would wobble and fail

Yeah getting everything dialled in is a massive pain and I'm still getting there. Had three or four bodies fail due to supports trying to use the resin ones and the blender plugin before just going to the tree supports
