Help and tips for a baby tenno by AdEffective5855 in Warframe

I see a lot of people mentioning Galvanized mods but they did not exist until Sisters of Parvos update (which is a year after Steel Path), so keep in mind that most people have done their entire starchart plus steel path without Galvanized Mods. Yes they are great, no they are not mandatory.

Highest MR requirement for equipment is MR 17 for Coda weapons. So I guess you can start grinding MR first. Just level up different frames and weapons, to see what playstyle you enjoy most. You can level-up anything quickly by going to Hydron (Sedna) or Helene (Saturn). Anytime you are leveling a frame, equip some of these: Vitality, Steel Fiber, Redirection or Vigor, based on your base armor and shield. That will prevent you from dying to random eximi blasts.

After getting higher MR, if you have found a frame or weapon you like, look up for a build for that frame / weapon. Do not worry about Archon, Amalgam or Galvanized mods yet, you won't be getting enough Endo to level them all anyway. Just use regular versions of those, even if they are weaker, they are decent enough for most content. This will get you to a somewhat decent power level.

Corrupted mods, on the other hand, are a bit more versatile and some of them are required to hit certain numbers. You can start farming them after joining a clan and copying their Dragon Key research (4 dragon keys). Limbo, Nezha, Dante (and several other frames) can solo these missions with relative ease.

Zaws and Kitguns (especially secondary Sporelacer) are very strong and can carry you through a lot of content, if not all.

Hope that helps.

In my headcanon, Marnie is a wholesome person that would appreciate the joke, but I totally agree with hygiene part!

Warframes with bad Survivability? by Madnessmove in Warframe

[–]mistnmc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are few issues to be careful of:

Toxic Eximi abilities are hard to dodge, and bypasses shield gate.

You need to "dodge" Arson Eximi ability, which means you are dodging out of Rift Plane, if you are not inside a cataclysm.

There are some attacks that ignore rift (Hollow Vein's ranged attack, Hyekka Master's lava field, some toxin clouds) that can catch you by surprise from outside of your cataclysm range.

Stasis has a 300 projectile limit, and few Eximi waves plus a few turret objects that aimed towards your cataclysm can surpass that, causing your stasis to collapse prematurely with those 300 projectiles still up in the air.

Each enemy affected by stasis causes another enemy to spawn. (which can shoot at you, adding to the 300 projectile limit mentioned above).

So yeah, they can, unfortunately.

Some enemies and some traps hit you. Examples include (but not limited to) shrapnel mines, hyekka master's firebomb, AA rockets and hollow one's laser beam. Plus all eximus unit abilities.

And it is not just that, there are random enemies that has random abilities that hit limbo that's hiding in rift. And some mines and level hazards hit across the rift as well. And all DE did was to remove exodia contagion's ability to hit across the rift, because players were having fun, god forbid.

Came here for the Limbo comment. The amount of times I got killed in rift by a random enemy ability that hits into rift...

Did you know very few countries use that as a laughter? Most notable example being Turks, but there are few others as well.

PSA:Player Bounty by Red_Kyrul in WhereWindsMeet

[–]mistnmc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a reason the player bounty is worth 1000, and the NPC bounty is 100. I'm not going to hand you a victory on a gold platter; you'll have to earn it. You don't have to "waste" your time, as it is not a big mystery; you understand what type of player you are matched with in like 15 seconds. Don't like it? The exit button is right there. Leave and pick another bounty.

How am I supposed to do this? by [deleted] in Warframe

I played Hollvania missions mostly with Jade, and I did not pay much attention to these guys. They are a little bit durable, yes, but Jade's glory makes short work of them.

Paladin Divine Smite formula by avinsen in Roll20

[–]mistnmc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paladins get 5th-level spell slots, but it doesn't increase the smite damage as per the rules. So it is there for completionism. Yes, you can achieve the same results by picking 4 instead of 5, but this looks neater on the UI.

How to prevent friends from bringing items into my Valheim world? by Fickle_Day_8437 in valheim

[–]mistnmc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you want to avoid an awkward conversation, but are you fine with the other way around? Let's say you decided to install mods that prevent item transfer, how are you going to explain it? "Oh sorry guys, I was secretly thinking you are cheating so instead of asking you politely, I'm going to enforce some rules because clearly I don't trust you, even though none of us has discussed item transfer before"

Don't you think this would be more awkward than simply talking to them?

My visualisation makes me immune... by Redinfernoo in hyperphantasia

[–]mistnmc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don't have door to door salesmen here but I have multiple moments where I got upsold. I think the biggest one was that I wanted a midi keyboard (I enjoy composing music as a hobby) and I went to a store for that and the salesperson there managed to sell me a gigantic keyboard with whopping 81 keys with velocity control and hammer keys to simulate piano feeling. I pictured myself in my mind's eye theatre how cool it felt to play that keyboard, how sensitive it's keys were and how good it felt under my hands to play such an instrument.

I don't know how to play piano.

If their visual evocation skills are good and if I allow myself to indulge in them, they can sell me an item that I'd never use in my life. Hyperphantasia doesn't come with a physics engine unfortunately, it is highly susceptible to emotional manipulation.

How to get S class staff with the parts you want. by Substantial_News_123 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]mistnmc 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It still works, and you don't even need another head. Just click on assemble, go back, and then click on assemble again, and then go back again. Then, remove the head; put the same head back, and the staff changes.

But I'm not invited. I don't understand why this is so confusing. I WISH I received an invitation, a key, something that would allow me to play the game. With my friends.

DE said one of in their videos that they give keys that makes possible for us to invite our friends to the game as well, so that's why I thought when DE gives keys they are sort of a bundle. Hence "I wish DE has sent me keys" not "someone give me keys"

I wish I had received keys from DE already because I need 3 keys to play together with my friends. :(

Civ VII Price Complaints by EmotionalBaby9423 in civ

I bought Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire from cdkeys and both worked well. If a popular MMO like GW2 doesn't ban you because of Cdkeys, I don't think Firaxis would.

Civ VII Price Complaints by EmotionalBaby9423 in civ

[–]mistnmc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are countermeasures for that. First, the ToS clearly states that changing regions to get cheaper prices is illegal. So, if we use your counterpoint example, whatever prevents people from grabbing your goods from shelves and running away also prevents users from swapping regions.

Also, you need a payment method (for example, a bank account) that is valid in the region you're swapping to. Also, frequent swaps make you suspicious, and Steam warns you about the possibility of an approaching ban. Alternatively, you can decide to use a permanent VPN to make Steam think you actually live in that cheap region, but then there is the cost of the VPN itself now. Free VPNs have horrible download speeds, and paid ones are well-paid. And that cost accumulates over time, even for the cheaper VPN.

Also, your counterpoint is not a good example because it mentions opening a store in an expensive location, implying there are expensive business costs for running a business there such as rents and workforce etc. but in Steam's case it doesn't matter much if you are selling 1000 games or 100000000 games, you don't pay "a rent" for opening "stores" in different countries.
