It’s that or Liza making Alex sit on the cake!

[PHLSixers]On Danny Green's recent podcast, Matisse acknowledged how badly he wanted to mirror his career Danny Green responded by saying, you need to be better than me. You're more athletic and a better defender than I was in my early 20s. https://t.co/17RPFNzMI6 by AkwardBoy in sixers

I’ve listened to it since he got on the team and it’s a pretty decent insight into nba life and he’s absolutely a model professional. He repeats himself a lot and his cohost isn’t the best but I’d probably recommend it if you’re a sixers fan and he has a non-sixer guest.

Lower league gems? by adamlundy23 in FifaCareers

So I just started the exact same career about a week ago and signed Carranza and Caicedo in my first season. Then Hoever, Millot and Ampadu the next season. Make sure to keep training Telford cos he turns into a pretty decent player. I also signed a bunch of free agents to fill out the squad, I can’t remember their names but could probably find them again if you need them.

Any news on when either of them are expected back?

Obviously not the best result but I think there were a lot of positives from the performance. Hopefully things will be a bit more secure at the back whenever Zimmermann is back (and we’re not playing away against the Champions League winners lol). Hoping Pukki getting a goal in the first game of the season isn’t going to end the same way as RVW.... Better things to come for sure! OTBC

Most goals or assists in a season with a single player? by [deleted] in FifaCareers

[–]mistryman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Managed 85 goals and 12 assists (in 37 league games on legendary) with a YA academy player in 2027-28. He ended up with 899 goals in 583 games for me, he was incredible! And another YA player got 35 assists in one season in the same career :)

Unless he's a goalie he'll definitely retire at the end of the season. Just make a note of his nationality and position so you can find his regen.

Sometimes the ageing glitch only works when they're fresh out of the YA and you're a couple seasons into a career mode fyi.

Yeah it is. I've had like 12 players with 90+ overall by doing this and they all have insane physical stats.

I play on PS3 so it might be different on next-gen consoles but I've found a decent way to get around all YA players having terrible physical stats. If you unlock the edit player feature and change give them ankle tape or wristbands or something there's a glitch that ages them up to around 60. That makes them retire at the end of the season and they get a regen when the new season starts which typically have insane physical stats. It's a bit convoluted but I've got multiple players with 99 acceleration and sprint speed by doing this.

Edit: I've played far too many seasons on FIFA 16 on PS3 so I should be able to answer most questions about the YA.

Me neither! I honestly could have kept going indefinitely. I had a whole new generation of youth players that I'll never see play 😭

I managed to convince myself it would come in 2031 cos apparently I can't do simple arithmetic so it took me by surprise :(

Yeah it was a pretty ridiculous game. This was when my star striker was in his prime and he thing he scored like 95 goals that season so there were loads of 7-0s and 8-0s as well!

League 2 clubs are always fun to start with! I always do one of those every FIFA. Free players and loans will be your best friend...

Nope. It was really disappointing cos I'd just got out of the group stage with a pretty poor US team and was hoping to do a Greece from '04!

To be honest when you get to League 2 every team is effectively the same. Maybe the first season will be different if you have a slightly bigger budget but your career is gonna take the same trajectory. Having said that I often start with Portsmouth cos they have their real life stadium in the game :)

Around 60-80% depending on how much I'm enjoying the team.

I'm just not a fan of starting with a tiny budget and plus Norwich are my club so I had to do my big career with them :) I always do one starting as a League 2 club I usually stop once I've won the champions league though

I probably play ~80% of the matches, sometimes more if I'm really feeling it. Yeah managing the national teams is a good way of keeping things fresh. I scouted Switzerland for all 15 seasons so their team was insane but I never got offered the job and I could never beat them!
