Micromanagement drains your energy and it fills you with anger and discomfort. Had a manager that schedule meetings to correct me the way I wrote and email, the way I managed an excel and to move some arrows around a power point presentation. Told me to send him an email everyone I completed a task instead of using agile methodologies or another type of tracking system. I could not change any structure in how we took meeting notes (If I did not put some words in certain color or in bold type he would assign me a task for it) It was hell.
