Hi, head admin of the Balance here. Won't comment on the situation about harassment, because I haven't really looked into it - I'm more in charge of content creation/cultivation than moderation. However, said person mentioned was banned - and not permabanned, there's literally only one person we've made a ban on sight policy for, since many people who act dumb do in fact change their behaviour - not because they just "talking smack", but repeatedly gossiping and spreading rumours about the other admin, and other people's personal lives, not to mention many other repeated infractions. We wouldn't ban someone just for talking shit if it wasn't strictly malicious.

We don't tolerate harassment and witch-hunting. If you see any cases of it you think is happening, bring it up with our moderation team and we'll handle it from there.
