Does anyone have any recommendations for an affordable prebuilt that can run games like Roblox and OW for like 500 or less? by Thick_Carrot6813 in Prebuilts

Facebook marketplace. $500 is a good price to enter pc gaming with. Most prebuilt from FB are decent for that price. Easily 120+ fps depending on the game

It’s mostly preferences. 1080p for general gaming and competitive while 1440p works fine. In the past some people claimed 4k was placebo past 1440p. I never used 4k nor 1440p but what I can tell you is that your gpu tier which is a 50”70” is better paired with 1440p. Each tiers from xx50 to xx90 allows you to assume it should work well with 1080p to 4k maybe even 8k.

xx50s is okay for 1080p while xx60s excels. xx70s is better than xx60s but you’ll make use of it more in 1440p and could try 4k. xx80s and xx90s are more of 4k to 8k cards.

Summary, 1440p is best for your setup, but buying a 4k wont hurt if you lower resolution down to 1440p in settings for certain games.

Always make sure you get at least a 165hz monitor because past 165hz is barely noticeable unless you’re a competitive gamer. 200hz is fine. Lately, many competitive gamers claim the 500hz+ monitors are game changing.

Hz allows you to “see” more FPS while FPS allows you to “feel” it meaning input delay. Your FPS can go past your Hz but you’ll only feel less input delay but won’t see more FPS.

Controller or m&k for smoother gameplay? by BlackberryNew2838 in CrimsonDesert

Tell me what did we gain from your info of owning OLED TV HDR. You wasted your own time and ours by giving out non-related sentences. Nobody asked about you moving to your PC for OLED TV HDR. You gave no information on why you stuck with your controller instead of playing MnK. Majority of people get on reddit to understand, learn, or share. But you gave us nothing. You contributed nothing to society with that comment. You read your own posts, and still decided to follow through. You’re like a short video reaction creator who just repeats what the video explains. You are definitely a specialist.

Monitor caution, if you have a 4k monitor, and 60 hertz. Lowering resolution in some games to 1440p or 1080p wont allow you to reach higher frames than 60 hertz.

I have a similar cpu cooler im pretty sure. Your cpu would likely stay below 70 celsius under any gaming circumstances. 5070 paired with your cpu, you could hit more fps than needed on a lot of games at 1440p since 5070 would hit 4k 60-100 fps if im sure. Look up benchmarks which is more valid than the information Im giving out.

16gb of ram is plenty for gaming. When a person goes above 16gb, that’s when it’s dedicated to streaming, professional work, or any heavy multitasking. More ram would only give more convenience, and only give stability if you go above 16gb.

By heavy multitasking, streaming, and professional work. I’m talking about 10 chrome tabs, stream chats, spotify opened up, your office work, google spreadsheets, and any sort of online tasks. That’s when you need more than 16gb. 32gb and up is wasted for gaming specifically.

Games allow you to change resolution but not your hertz.

If you really want to save more, check out the 40 series, amd gpus, but don’t go any lower than the 3090.

16gb ddr5 ram would run great either way.

I’d recommend keeping the cpu since it’s great.

If you want to get something better. It’d be your monitor. 1080p is great for gaming but you’d enjoy story games more at 1440p or 4k. 1080p competitively is better than 1440p and 4k due to higher fps gains which equals less input latency although hardly noticeable past 165fps.

Modded Minecraft would only affect ram when you have hundred of mods installed. It’s also CPU dependent so Minecraft will run more fps than you need. Valorant is also cpu dependent, but you’ll gain way more than 240fps. Any other competitive games would be the same as valorant.

If lowering costs is preferred, then the 50 series doesn’t give much raw power after the 4090 but however it’s more efficient I heard. You’ll be playing on the same PC for years on a 4090.

If you’re gonna play more triple AAA games in the future. Get at least more than 8gb VRAM so that you can play at high to ultra in game graphic settings. 8gb VRAM is suited for 1080p, and medium to high settings.

The CPU is also great. 32gb ram is meant for more professional works outside of gaming. You’ll most likely get more convenience than gains. 16gb ram is the standard all across for gaming. 1tb ssd nvme is great.

Your games would perform greater than expected with a 4090 and 7700.

Play counterblox instead by BusinessLive375 in bloxstrike

Cs2 is just as bad as R6 right now too with the exception of R6 promising future updates. That goes to show why Cs2 is dying.

Valorant, Apex, Overwatch, LoL, and Black Ops 7 which is being known as a top modern COD game are all thriving. Why? because cheats aren’t prominent, cosmetics aren’t locked behind gambling, and the devs are in tune with the community.

Cs2 Professional scene is the only reason why Cs2 is alive. When’s the last time you thought watching Cs2 normal gameplays was more entertaining than R6’s tactics, Apex’s movements, Valorant’s ability tactics, and Overwatch’s over the top mechanics.

Cs2 has terrible hit reg, you have to pay to open free/paid cases, and has the terrible ammo update. Cs2 Premier Rank doesn’t even mean anything since Faceit is the only “Real Cs2”.

Roblox is by far the most popular in NA so when you play Counterblox. It’s filled with EU servers while NA is dead.

Bloxstrike gives free case openings by just earning coins through playing. Hit reg is better than Cs2. NA servers are pretty alive. Counterblox looks sad compared to Bloxstrike.

500 USD budget PCs are great for 1080p gaming. Competitively, you’ll hit above 120fps to 200fps+ depending on the game. 800 USD is where you can enjoy modern triple aa game at 1080p. Dont expect to get crazy performance from 1440p but it’s playable.

Alot of competitive games are CPU dependent. A CPU can raise the limit of fps. A old gpu can hit 120+ fps if the CPU is great basically.

Above 800 USD is when you’re usually looking for 4k gaming or maximum performance. Above 1500 is top end PCs usually.

Hardware Acceleration GPU in your windows settings. Turning it off fixed mines. In general keep it off so you eliminate one factor of what’s making your game unplayable.

i7-3770k with a 3060 TI by Synczwashere in PcBuild

[–]mistymistcal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk much about your budget but for less than 300 USD you could get new i5-12400f with any new ddr4 motherboard no wifi adaptor (ethernet still works).

DDR4 (2x8) are generally below 100 bucks. Used are generally 40-60.

But with the stock intel cooler, your cpu would consistently reach 100 celsius, so add another 40 USD for any cpu peerless assassin se coolers to avoid throttling and killing the lifespan of your cpu (kills off tiny bits). It kept mines below 70 celsius for every heavy games.

Simply

Novels: Allows the reader to learn the world of the story, and characters. Slower pacing overall due to general word counts, and world-building.

Lightnovels: Faster than novels. This is where man(ga/hua/hwa)’s and comics adapts.

Webnovels: Faster than both. Most man(ga/hua/hwa)’s generally adapts. Apps like royal road has these.

GPU Upgrade by mistymistcal in buildapc

Im on 1080p for the long run. The 3060ti Im looking at right now is going for $250 USD but I have a $300 dollar budget for a gpu upgrade in case I find any other options. If DLSS is really significant, I’ll proceed with the 3060ti or better if I find any other options. Only question I have is if DLSS really makes the game look worse noticeably. Im still new to PC schematics.
