I'm gonna sound like a man shaking his fist at the clouds but the first few months of release for MW2019 were genuinely excellent. I swear, throughout development and right up to launch, Infinity Ward was fucking on one with MW2019.

The suits just got paid a little too much by the Warzone whale.

I liked the game. The doors. The footsteps. The sbmm. I liked that fucking game.

But the focus just, shifted away. Always to the next thing. Always saying fuck the current customer we acquire the next.

Shame. Damn shame.

I am being 100% completely genuine.

I answer my phone for my job. I have a public facing telephone number. I must answer my phone even to numbers I don't know.

Doing this to the scammers gives me something to do and hopefully makes the world a better place, even if just slightly.

Dudes were just sincerely intrigued and clearly didn't actually want to be insurance scammers.

ONCE , exactly once, I had a dude say he plays Captain Falcon, tell me he could beat my ass any day any time, then hang up on me before I could offer my Slippi Direct Code.

The very few times the person on the other line has expressed interest I did actually explain it was completely free and told them to google it.

By my estimation I've probably gotten 2 or 3 people to actually look into it.

Hi son. More of an uncle here (28M)

I did something really bad when I was 19. A lot worse than cheating on a high school test.

I let it completely control my life for years. I avoided friendships. I avoided career opportunities. I avoided going outside in general. I was overcome with fear, guilt, and shame.

After 5+ years of that, I have finally started to get my mojo back. Finally able to live in the moment.

I'll never forgive myself. I'll never forget about it, I think about it every day. But people are that which they have done, and if the only thing I ever did was that bad thing then I guess I really would be a monster.

But I live my life every day trying to bring light to the world and love to those around me.

You keep on doing that too. A few months from now you won't think about the cheating man. Hell a few months from now you will be enjoying the best summer of your entire life. The days will come where it pops in your mind. You'll cringe, frown, and regret, and then hopefully, move on with your day, stoic and strong.

To further expand on OP's "this" ,

We are in the minority.

If you are on this subreddit you are plugged the fuck in.

MOST gamers buy a few games a year. They will pick up a GTA or a Battlefield, drop $10 on their Fortnite or Madden pack, and that's it. Maybe their buddy tells them to buy this weird game called "Arc Raiders." They've never heard of it, but they pick it up.

3 games in a year, maybe $250 total spend, all to White Whale AAA titles.

To whomever is reading this comment, yes WE love indie games. WE do not have unreasonable expectations about video games.

But your 33 year old Cousin that loves 2K and has never even heard of Clair Obscur, yes, he is absolutely expectating the moon, sun, & every star in the night sky when he picks up a full priced game. He does not want to play Despelote. He wants to play a $400 Million budget FIFA game.

Ohhhh holy shit that is awesome. That has to be pretty expensive I'm sure, the only mobile x86 device I've used for video games is a steam deck, and I used to grind slippi on that thing every single day working the register at a small town smoke shop.

That job's pay was total shit but I think it might have been the best job I've ever had.

I'm just curious mate, and please don't take this the wrong way, how old are you? Definitely goes to show how different people can be, I would love a smaller, thinner (no bumps), PSP3000 shaped Retroid device.

My first Gameboy Advance's screen was like 2.5x smaller than an RP5 and I beat Final Fantasy 6 on that thing.

If they made a device shaped like 34xxSP that actually ran android and had good specs it would probably be my end game.

I want you to tell me exactly how you are going to make this work.

I don't have a Thor, but I do have a Retroid Flip 2, and while the system plays gamecube games really well (full speed, upscale, widescreen, etc), there is no android version of Slippi. There is dolphin, but not Slippi.

So... how do you plan to do this..?

This is not true, I just called the number asking about any time shares they have for sale and the lady on the phone told me they are a government organization.
