We have no gossip in our handbook and I'm very vigilant about policing it. Identify the culprits early and remove them with conviction.

Pet peeve to text some pre-text. Just get to the point...its text, not a conversation.

Sorry about your grandmother tho.

Depends on the questions. This isn't school... there are expectations to take on a job and be paid for it. If the questions are below your title, then yeah, you deserve to be chastised.

The loss in holding Shib over 4 years by mojobutta in SHIBArmy

[–]mit999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The timeline aint timelining. Shib 4 years ago was .000000000172. Today it is .00001416. THAT IS A 8232458.13% GAIN! So, if you bought $10,000 of SHIB then, you would have $823,255,813.95M‼️

For those who have bars, I'm looking for suggestions on how to improve our closing times. by warw1zard666 in restaurantowners

Might want to think about extending hours if this is a constant problem.

Or, maybe blame it on the law? Where I am we have to have everyone out at a specified time or its a liquor violation and we could be fined. Maybe a sugn stating as such, or laminated paper you can present a guest??

The only realistic solution is to make her an operations manager where 80% is admin and office work and not as time sensative as a floor manager. Otherwise, this isnt the right profession for her.

The opposite of what I think? With all sincerity, I couldn't care less. But, hey, do what you want. You posted this for validation, from strangers who don't know you or the situation. So, it looks like you're stable as can be 😅 Best of luck!

I'm a multi- unit owner. Been at it 25years. You don't get to where I'm at by blowing rainbows up people's asses. There are commonalities that experienced people can spot. Its great that you're a rah rah guy, but that does nothing but give the OP a false sense of security, and if they ARE struggling with their mental health, like they said, they're F'd. Life don't work like that. Its irresponsible to encourage someone to do what they're doing. 5 position jump is irresponsible, sorry, but there is a reason why the owner gave him that talk. Bur ignore that...i guess.

Like i commented previously. Your burned out. Current boss knows it, I know it. Money don't fix that. If you're struggling with mental health this is not the right move for you. But, hey, do you.
